Food was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed it! My partner thought it was a bit pricey, but I chalk it up to the drinks we had. Really glad we’ve found a good local spot! Loved the scallops, steak, anchovies, and pan con tomate

One of the best restaurants in London hands down! The staffs Stella, Alex and another gentleman with glasses (sorry I didn’t catch your name) were so warm and lovely! They gave me such great recommendations! Highly recommend the courgette flower, scallop and duck. I usually dislike mussels (that came with the scallop dish) but the chef made the dishes so well they tasted like a dream. I’m glad I gave it a go. Alex even whipped up this original cucumber, elderflower drink that goes so well with the scallop. Will definitely be back soon! Chefs kiss!

Absolutely incredible food all around, the pork belly was to die for. The waitress from New Zealand delivered exceptional service and the place is warm and cozy. A must visit.

A very welcome quality addition to the surprisingly limited choice for dining in an area where much of the so-called competition has become grossly complacent. (Yes, Villa Bianca group - I'm alluding to you). A talented squad that formerly operated the succesful (and greatly missed) Ye Olde White Bear, is in the saddle again here, in the snug cellars at number 28. The bonus is that they're nice, welcoming people too. Cosy atmosphere, talented kitchen, on-the-ball & pleasant service, sound management. More of the same please. Update June 2023. Three years on- the experience here is, if anything, better. Many of the original staff remain, which is an encouraging sign, but the food quality, both taste and presentation, is simply outstanding. This is an example of how to run an excellent hospitality business.

What a lovely restaurant. Friendly helpful staff, a relaxing ambience and really great food. Everything we chose, and it was an eclectic selection of just what we fancied, was fantastic. Interesting wine choices too, a little off the beaten track. We’ll be back and would recommend to others curious about giving it a try.

Amazing food, never really let's us down, I love how they change the menu frequently. The last time we went the Oxtail and shrimp was AMAZING. Service amazing too. We were just sad to know that it was the last day for those two dishes..we wanted to come and stuff our faces with them again.
