Really incredible experience. The longest I think I’ve ever sat to enjoy food. A true fine dining experience, the 7 course taster menu and paired drinks were exquisite.
Special mention to the Muscat cocktail too. Highly recommended!
Good British cuisine restaurant but not exceptional.
The meat was tender, vegetables were very good and the gravy was pretty bad. The place is a little bit small but it was fine and clean. The price is very high so be careful.

I have to start by saying, this was nearly a 5 start from me, however I stopped at 4 because I had the lamb shank roast and I found it lacking in something… I cannot put my finger on it, it was cooked perfectly. My wife had the beef, which I preferred to the lamb.

I hate to have given 4 stars on the food. It may be just me but I thought the Yorkshire pud was overcooked and the harissa sauce that came with the shank lacked flavour. Otherwise the roast menu was all very very tasty, yummy trimmings etc. Desserts were excellent!
