Mio Restaurant - London - Photo album

My son and I had lunch here last week. Lovely, small restaurant just off the beaten track. Always packed. We were greeted well and all service was excellent as was the food. My son had the mushroom cream bruschetta and I had the burrata. The mushrooms were succulent and the sauce was wonderful. The
Mio is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The food quality belies the prices. Plus, if one desires, they can watch the chefs cook their dinner as the small kitchen is part of the main dining area but sealed off by a glass partition. I had the ravioli main course, it just melted in the mouth. £43 for 2, 2
A very warm welcome by Fabio, not the owner, who is keeping an eye on everyone. It's a small restaurant and it was full but that doesn't mean that quality was less or service was slow. I took a very good tomato bruschetta and then a spaghetti bolognaise and a white wine. It felt like being in Italy.
Hidden gem alert! 💎 This cozy Italian joint serves up fab pasta dishes like drool-worthy arrabiata and tasty puttanesca. No rez required but go early to snag a table. The friendly staff and delightful eats make Mio a 5-star spot for a casual London night out. Bellisimo!
This is the best Italian restaurant we have been to so far in our lives. We have been to many Italian restaurants in the USA across many states but none have been like Mio. Even the super expensive USA Italian restaurants we have been to can not compare to the taste of Mio. Everything was fresh! Eve
A great Italian restaurant with phenomenal service. The food was excellent and they have a good discount for students on almost every item on the menu, as long as it’s for takeout. We ordered 2 different pizzas and both were a good size and delicious.
Found this little gem via its very good Google reviews. Hadn't booked but staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Sharing board to start was great; fresh and very tasty. Calzone classic and Crudo Pizza mains were excellent; very tasty, looked great and generous portions. Given the exc
A FOODIE’S ACCIDENTAL BUT SATISFYING FIND.🤩🤩🤩. Famished from a very long flight and long walk in central London, this was great find. It’s on a surprisingly in a relatively area just off of Parliament Square. A small cozy restaurant with a full bar. It reminds me of similar nooks in Positano😎. Ther
Tried a Margherita Pizza and Calzone Classic - too much food for 2 people because the calzones are huge! It was such a surprise when we got it, but it was delicious and the fillings were nice. I'd definitely recommend trying one!
Quaint restaurant which cultivates a really nice atmosphere (probably dampened by my 3 children). Food was incredible, I had a bruschetta starter and a pizza main which were both fantastic. Service was impeccable, the lady serving us fussed over my newborn baby periodically throughout which was real
The food at this price point is top shelf. 13” personal pizzas with excellent thin crusts and toppings. Calzones as big as your head. Fluffy gnocchi in red or pesto sauces. Good table wine. Excellent service. The music could be a little quieter and less techno, but we enjoyed it enough that we went
Delicious proper authentic Italian food, can tell that the chefs are really talented at what they do. I had spaghetti bolognese while my friend had a calzone. Both were amazing, so well made, and the calzone was SO BIG. Definitely get your moneys worth. however the spaghetti bolognese portion size w
Cute little restaurant, excelent and authentic italian food, service outstanding. Reservation is recommended.
The best thin crust pizza in London! Fresh and delicious! The server Alice was awesome and very friendly. Five stars all the way!
The pizza was fresh and delicious! Got the napolitana, margherita with tuna, tortellini with spinach and ricotta and puttanesca (latter was a tad bit salty). The affogato was delicious and espresso was quality. We also got the cannoli (pistachio and Nutella — pistachio was perfect) and a bottle of r
What a gem. Our family of 4 went here based on the reviews and were not disappointed 😊 Such a warm welcome, down to earth friendly staff, super small but adds to the atmosphere. I love how happy the staff were & how they hadn’t scrimped on staff either, 3 waitresses to such a small restaurant, adds
Wow! Talk about a wonderful little Italian restaurant with a good vibe, great food, and great prices! If you’re visiting from the U.S., don’t pass up this little gem. We had a variety of dishes, and it was all fantastic. A couple bits of advice though: you do want to call ahead for reservations, an
Everything was exceptional, thanks for great meal and italian beer. Btw. You should come to Ostrava or Frýdek-Místek too, not only Prague.
Great place for a quick dinner before heading out, but book in advance as it’s a small restaurant. The food came really quickly and service very good. The Gorgonzola gnocchi was great definitely would recommend it if you like rich dishes, and the pizza was good too.
