Simply excellent and delivers amazing quality fish and chips. Try and get seated in the garden for a memorable experience. Excellent value for money and great staff. Well done! Not necessarily just one if in the neighborhood but should be a destination for all those in west or southwest London
One of the best fish & chips in London. Cod is gigantic and chips is fresh and homemade (I think). Also the staff is very friendly. Good spot for a lunch or takeaway
Really really good. I can't say enough good things about our meal. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was great, but really all it comes down to is top quality food! I would've happily paid twice as much for the meal and still left satisfied. Putting serious thought into buying a flat down the road just so I can eat there every day!
Best Fish & Chips in London! (According to The Times & Me). I tried out Fisher's Fish and Chips last friday and I have to say, it is the BEST fish and chips I've had for a long time!
They told me that they had recently refurbished the whole place and it looks great. It has the feel of a nice, clean, upper class restaurant.
The prices were great, the food was absolutely delicious and the portions were too big for me! The staff were also so lovely and friendly, always smiling and chatting!
I definitely recommend this place! I only hear of it because The Times wrote an article saying it was the best Fish and Chips in London!! What a find, I recommend it!
Awesome. One of the must have's for me on my return to the homeland was a proper fish and chips and a Kebab.. .okay... 7 kebabs at least. Since I was not sure where it was, we jumped off the Parson's Green train station and legged it for miles it seems, we finally did find the little hole in the wall. Little, would be an understatement. It was really quaint and literally had only 7 tables in the whole place.. Including a four top outside the bathroom, which was taken. There would be a 20min wait, so we opted to take out...
Cod and chips was my choice.... The server asked whether I wanted salt and vinegar on my chips.... YES PLEASE... The fish portion was friggin humongous. Like so large he had to whack off the end to fit the entire thing into my bag. But first he filled said bag with three huge scopes of chips.. sprinkled vinegar and salt in and handed me what felt like three pounds of seafood.
It was still loverly and hot when we got back to our hotel and the homemade tartar sauce hit the spot. The chips were crisp and the fish batter was crunchy and not to greasy. I got through eating the fish and could barely stuff a handful of chips in my gob. This was truly a great meal. Well worth the walk and not being able to eat there was the only small negative in our trip.
I miss the fact that they no longer seem to wrap the fish & chips with newspaper, but with all the negative press these days, perhaps it best for now....
Best Ever Fish and chips. I had the BEST FISH AND CHIPS in london for a long time, after reading a review in time out, i thought i would give it a try. What a PLACE,Large Portions ( Value for money the OWNER tells me) cheap prices, and a great product. well done guys, we shall return every week, we have already booked for a table, as they do get busy.... what about loyality card guys.....???
Best in town. I haven't come across another Fish and Chip place that does it better. I haven't yet sat down in the restaurant, preferring the tiny take out counter experience, but the restaurant is rarely without customers. The two twins who run the place are friendly and clearly know their stuff. Aside from the fish, the pies, fishcakes and burgers are all very good, and fairly well priced, but nothing beats the Fish and Chips.
Overall, Fisher’s made for a great lunch stop, with some nicely done fish and reasonable chips served up fresh with a decent price tag. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back if I was in the neighborhood.
It's so difficult to find good Fish and Chips in London in fact I struggle to name more than 4 places that are genuinely good. The Rock and Sole Plaice and Sea Shell are really not very good any more. This shop has been a chippy for over 30 years but abou
An excellent little refined fish and chips restaurant in Fulham. The restaurant is quite quaint and the service is friendly. Food is great. Portions are huge!! Tip: Order the larger portion and share. I recommend the cod fish and the chips were amazing. Everything here seemed fresh. I highly recommend this place even if you’re coming from central London
Ah wow, what an amazing find! This has to be one of the best fish and chip shops in London, definitely the best fish and chip shops I've ever been to. The fish, the chips were literally perfect, the home made Tarte sauce and the excellent service was just an added bonus, we love it here! Very friendly place, can't recommend this place enough. Lovely interior and very clean.
One of my favourite local place!
I went there many times and the best fish and chips I had in London! I recommend reservation if you want to sit at the restaurant, otherwise perfect for take away or delivery.
The service is really good! Staff very thoughtful and friendly!
I once went on a date and the waiter was so caring, we felt like a very fancy restaurant! ❤️
And the food is always fresh! Fresh fish deep fried on the order!
I would always recommend that place for fish and chips with my flatmates.
I went today with my daughter in law. She ordered a fish finger sandwich with chips, and I ordered cod and chips. The fish was fried to perfection, the chips were thick chippy chips, beautifully fluffy from inside and crispy from outside.
The tartare sauce was perfect accompliment.
Delicious fish and chips! Had takeaway though the restaurant is so cute would come back to eat in. Fish was delicious, great batter. Chips a tad soggy and the vinegar super weak couldn’t taste it at all. Only other downside was we were served in bags rather than boxes which made eating on the move a bit tricky! Would be 5* if they had a fish/chips/side combo meal (rather than everything separate) and more punchy vinegar/sachets to give away! Sides were also £2.50 which seems quite steep for some peas. Curry sauce okay but a bit thick (though maybe just comparing to the great curry sauce of the north!). Staff weren’t the most friendly though it was the end of a very hot day so let them off! Having said that, would come back again when needing an Al fresco dinner by the river. 3x cod, 3x chips, 3x mushy peas, 2x tartare sauces and 2x soft drinks came to £50
This is an incredible place! The dishes were brought out simply with the speed of light. The portion was huge (I couldn't finish it even though I love to eat). Very friendly waitress and charismatic chef. I recommend!
So great! We liked so much. The fish is big and delicious 😋
Just reserve a table before if you don't want to wait…
Really enjoyed our visit here, we got there nice and early around 11:30 ish, hadn’t booked a table but we were quickly seated and the place filled up quickly.
Fish was lovely, we both had traditional battered cod and I have to say it rivals even my excellent chippy back home in the south west. The batter is crispy and even the medium size was a big piece of fish. We also had battered halloumi to share which was a bit naughty and decedent. I insisted we have curry sauce (the only appropriate sauce for fish and chips) which was really lovely and thick. Portion was more than enough for one person, my boyfriend had a large serving and struggled to finish it. Food was served hot and had clearly just been prepared.
My partner was visiting from the USA and I’d definatly reccomend this place to any tourists wanting to try traditional British fish and chips.
Still the freshest and the best fish and chips anywhere in London. Because of Covid, it took over 2 1/2 years for me to revisit London. And the first restaurant I return to is Fishers.
The management uses only the freshest ingredients and knows how to exquisitely coat and season everything it prepares. The cod prepared in the traditional fish and chips fashion has been my favorite. However, this visit I tried the fried cod with Cajun seasoning. And now I have a new favorite. The fish was cooked perfectly and the seasoning provide a nice zing to my culinary enjoyment.
I was able to sneak in a second visit this trip and sampled the fried calamari and the angus burger. As with every other dish in the restaurant, they were very well prepared and quite tasty. The 1/4 pound burger for 6 pounds is more than enough to satiate your appetite. But if you have a real big hunger, you can upsize to a 1/2 pound burger for only 1.5 pounds more.
Superb fish & chips with generous portions! The fish was perfectly fried, super crispy on the outside with the fish flaky in the middle! All with a super thin layer of batter. Don’t even know how the chefs can do it this well. Super large portion of chips too! We tried our best to finish but to no avail. Highly recommended!
