It's a good concept. Very cheap pizza's with a thin crust baked at high temperature in a proper pizza oven. You order and pay at the till, are given an alarm which informs you when your order is ready, find a seat and pick up your order when your beeper goes off. Twelve inch pizzas priced at £4 to £6.50. A bottle of prosecco is £16.00. It can get crowded. In summer there is extra seating outdoors. There are takeaway boxes available for leftovers.
I loved my order of Milano (white pizza with mozarella, gorgonzola, pancetta, mushroom and rosemary). My companion did not like his order of the vegetarian Giardano at all (tomato, mozarella, vegetables, a lot of chilli). It managed to be simultaneously bland and yet far too spicy. So have a good think about what you order.
Amazing thin crust pizzas at the most affordable rate I've found in London so far! Highly recommend for a cheap meal with good vibes. Ideal for getting pizza with friends or a date night!
PS: it's naturally very packed on the weekends.
Very nice pizza and obviously good quality ingredients. For the price, it’s actually really good value but I would gladly pay a little more to have a more substantial base rather than the one on there it just seemed really thin. Nice drink selection and great cannoli. Friendly staff. Loud music, if that’s your thing then great. Lots of space inside. Pizza could be faster but it’s still a nice product.
Cheap and solid , solid pizza for the price , not the greatest I’ve ever had but certainly not bad by any means , amazing prices especially been in London. I would still consider this a bargain based on a full pizza for around 7-8 pounds . Service was very quick and plenty of seating was available , if looking for a quick cheap bite in London this is defiantly a great choice
Lovely clean and tidy restaurant. Friendly service and a good range of pizza options. Very thin base, perhaps a little too crispy and thin for my liking but very generous with toppings. I had the mushroom and it was tasty.
Wash room are clean and tidy. That is always a bonus. If you are short of time and need a quick service and bite, I would recommend pizza union.
Awesome Pizza! The pizza was good, fresh and ready fast. Keep in mind that there is no table service and loud anoying music, hence the 4 star. That being said, if I lived here I would eat here often.
if you’re looking for an affordable meal that tastes good, pizza union is the place!! pizza was great and service was fast!! would highly recommend!! they’re frozen margaritas are sooo good!!
Loved the pizza and the staff. It was a steal for £6.95
Great place to have a chill evening out with friends.
The chicken salad was not great.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pizza Union, and I have to say, the service provided by the skinny Spanish guy(Dieter) was truly excellent! From the moment my party and I walked into the restaurant, he greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home.
His attentiveness throughout our meal was remarkable. He not only took our orders promptly but also made sure to check on us regularly, ensuring that everything was to our satisfaction. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he was more than willing to make recommendations based on our preferences.
What truly stood out was his efficiency. Despite the busy atmosphere, he managed to serve all the tables with a calm and collected demeanor. He juggled multiple tasks effortlessly, ensuring that everyone received their food and drinks promptly. His ability to multitask without compromising the quality of service was impressive.
Furthermore, the skinny Spanish guy had an infectious enthusiasm for his job. He genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing, and his passion for providing exceptional customer service was evident in every interaction. He went above and beyond to accommodate any special requests and made sure we had an enjoyable dining experience.
Overall, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the skinny Spanish guy at Pizza Union. His dedication, professionalism, and friendly demeanor truly made our visit memorable. I highly recommend his impeccable service to anyone visiting Pizza Union. Keep up the fantastic work!
Really affordable pizza! Only complaint is that the pizza was terribly cut but apart from that, it was great! Would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for quick bite!
Possibly the best value pizza in the centre of London. £7.50 for a great 12" pizza is hard to find anywhere in the UK let alone London.
A chain pizza place with a non-traditional Italian vibe but incredibly flavorful thin-crust pizzas.
I tried Pizza Union's Margherita pizza and it was like a culinary teleportation to Italy. The pizza was made super quick, Italian-style and the thin crust was a perfect base for the simple yet delicious toppings. The sauce was tangy and the cheese was melty and just the right amount of gooey. It's definitely a good shout for pizza in London! The only downside was that the place tends to be packed with students, but hey, they have great taste in pizza!
The staff were friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. If you're looking for a quick and delicious pizza fix, check out Pizza Union. Just be prepared to fight off some hungry students for a table
Delicious and affordable wood fired pizza.
I’ve tried the margarita and the fungi (mushroom) pizzas and they are both amazing!
Their service is super quick and the quality is always consistent.
All the pizzas are 12inches and priced really well.
One of my preferred lunch spots in the area.
Went in with high expectations and I wasn’t disappointed. £6 for a whole margarita pizza is definitely unbeatable. After hearing about this place from others I decided to try the margarita pizza and the garlic sauce (which seemed homemade) and I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the pizza was. The dough itself is quite light, and the pizzas are a great size for one person. The Aldgate branch has great staff and they are able to serve pizzas very quickly. Will be coming back for sure!
Great thin and tasty pizza. All ingredients are really fresh. Also really amazing prices. Great vibe and great service. New favorite pizza place in London!
A highly affordable and delicious Pizza treat, in a casual, yet comfortable environment. For those who have not had PU before, premise is simple; You order at the counter, pay, get a buzzer and collect once buzzed. I’ve been to the PU in Kings Cross, but on this Saturday evening, it wasn’t so busy, so you could find seating comfortably. I had the Giardino with extra Pepperoni. The pizzas are thin, crispy and incredibly delicious. The prices range from £5-9 for a 12”. Great spot after work, casual bite or catch up with friends.
This place is so worth every penny you spend!! I have never tasted a bad pizza here and the price point is sooooooo smooth that you cannot get a better deal!
The pizzas a freshly prepared and delicious
There is a lot of seating space too with great outdoor seating for summers.
A good add on are the ice creams they sell. Nothing too braggy but a perfect end a worthy meal
Quite literally the BEST pizza in the whole of London...and the UK!!! We have been coming here for YEARS. It is so cheap for a family to eat here, everything is made fresh and they have great pizzas on the menu.. It's so simple. We will come here time and time again. You can't go wrong.
The prices are so economical but the quality of food is not compromised. The pizza was light, freshly baked and devious. The staff were quite friendly and the place was cleaned regularly. We tried their cannoli which tasted fine too. Maybe one of the best places in central London to have a delicious pizza on pocket friendly prices.
