Such a lovely place. The food is good and the staff is friendly. There is a garden area behind. You do need to remember this is not a fast food restaurant so give yourself time for them to come to your table or go to the counter and ask. They welcome cyclists.
What a lovely café, very nice people, and you get a huge warm welcome
CAFE NOW MOVED TO BEHIND ANGEL PUB! Lovely, friendly service and cake (sugar free fruit cake and tasty lemon cake) and good soy decaf latte and black coffee.
Cosy cafe serving excellent food. A warm welcome, a relatively short wait followed by a lovely breakfast.. one vegetarian and one full english. Edit: This venue is now closed 26.3.2024, however the tea rooms have moved to a new location a few steps up the high street.

I've been visiting Rosy Lee's for years and it never disappoints. Whenever I ride south of the city I try to stop off. Great food, fantastic service. My favourite café, full stop.
We make a trip to Rosy Lees at least once a year. We travel from East Yorkshire. Unfortunately we came on the wrong day. We all love the staff the food and the quirkiness. Gutted we missed you. Maybe next yeat
UPDATE!! May 2023 - Unfortunately this fabulous little cafe is now unbelievably closed down!! Such a loss to Loddon. Apparently the Angel Inn further along the road now has a cafe menu but I've not yet tried it.
After a lovely walk to Hardley Staithe we stopped at Rosie Lee's cafe in Loddon for tea and cake and were also tempted with a bacon roll! As usual the cakes were lush, I had the courgette, lime and pistachio and my partner had carrot and orange. The choice of cakes are endless and you are bound to find one you like! The pot of tea was enough for three cups each and the bacon in the roll was cooked to perfection. This tiny little cafe is perfect for somewhere to relax and watch the world go by, there is no pressure to rush and everyone is so friendly and helpful. A favourite for us when we are in the area
A friend and I fancied coffee and cake and Rosie Lees sprung to mind.
Caroline was as welcoming and bubbly as usual.
We shared a jug of milky coffee and got 5 cups from it. Lovely. I had coffee cake and my friend had a cheese Scone. We just sat in the window seats and watched the world go by. Relaxing and just nice.
The car park opposite is free (2 hours) and always has space and there are toilets available too.
Had read reviews and were not disappointed. Took our friends out for coffee and cake. We could not have been made more welcome. Sat outside in secluded secret garden, so pretty could have been anywhere. Coffee and cakes were brought out to us in picnic baskets, and served at our table. So quant, we all had different cakes which were homemade and delicious. Will definitely visit again. We have recommended to our friends. Rosy and her staff were very hospitable , brilliant service.
Rosie Lee's is finally open! Great little tea shop, family run and supports local youth for work experience. The service is Norfolk-paced but the bacon rolls are worth the wait. Absolute favourite with cyclists and boaters alike. Has a little rose garden annex by the waterfront.
