A treasure of a place! Well worth the drive out as it's a beautiful area. There's service 'with a smile' and you're made to feel welcome, it's definitely a place to relax and enjoy delicious food and interesting surroundings (art works). I highly recommend it.
We visited on Mother’s Day and had a beautiful afternoon tea. We had our 2 children with us and they even made a child’s version so they didn’t feel left out. Lovely home made food and really friendly staff, a little gem in the countryside
Lovely afternoon tea with friends yesterday, in the sunshine, on the green, lovely owners and even better cake!
Fantastic place, lovely welcoming hosts, great food and atmosphere - A real Gem hidden away!
Outstanding Tea Room, which also creates community in the village. Well worth a visit - people seem to come from far and wide
Fantastic little tearoom/bistro. Janilaine is an excellent hostess and Kevin a talented chef. The cakes and desserts are especially scrumptious 👍🏻
Great menu, lovely setting and staff AND the food is to die for.
Very much looking forward to my next visit. (Y)
(Chef is a mean photographer too!).
Cracking place lovely food and service will definitely be returning, charming people, food is perfect. Looking forward to the next visit. Just yards from hostel and the Tabulat hills route.
Warm welcome and delicious mont blanc cake and coffee. Already planning to go back
Fabulous! Gorgeous food and lovely people. Thank you.
A lovely tearoom for an afternoon cuppa or beer as part of our afternoon walk. Excellent peppermint tea. They also do coffee beers and wine!
A hidden Jem and proof you can put a tea room almost anywhere and if you do it right ‘they will come’ (Field of Dreams 1989). This is a super contemporary cafe that looks like it may have once been a barn but now a really smart cafe. We much enjoyed the quiche and chocolate cake, both were beautifully light and my earl grey tea was lovely. Definitely coming again with friends and recommending it to others. Just one thing, it can be busy at lunch time so bear that in mind ok 👍
What a fantastic place and location. Small tea room and the gallery of local artists where you can purchase quirky and unique presents /
collectible pieces of Art for yourself or loved ones.
It’s a small and cozy place with a log burner and delicious food. We had a lunch with toasties Ham & Gruyere and Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil, all served with homemade coleslaw salad and crisps. We completed our feast with scrumptious Blueberry Crumble and wonderful coffee.
It was an amazing lunch that I will remember. The place runs by two charming gentlemen who made us feel welcome and relaxed.
It has an easy parking and outdoor eating area. And the most important part it’s dog friendly. So I can’t recommend it more, if you are in the area this place not to miss out.
Our first visit to the tea rooms, carrot cake & latte, absolutely gorgeous ☕, we will be back, thank you 🤗
Popped in for lunch after a quick Google search. It's a beautiful quaint building, indoor and outdoor seating. Food was as lovely, I had a bacon and cheese quiche with orzo pasta side salad. It was delicious, a lovely light lunch. Even followed it with a chocolate drizzle flatjack that was very morish! The guys that were running it were polite, friendly and courteous. Would completely recommend going back ☺️.
No trip to the North Yorkshire Moors is complete without heading a minute or so off the A169 and visiting this amazing tea room. Andrew and Michael are superb hosts and the food is consistently excellent. The Chicken and Avocado sandwich is a particular favourite. Always an amazing selection of cakes to round off your meal.
Fab lunch in a friendly, attentive environment. So often difficult to find a flavoursome salad, but everyone enjoyed their meals and opted for cake to finish. Good quality coffee and unusual local art available for purchase at reasonable prices.
Definitely one to revisit.
A well run, clean, cosy retreat when you are in need of emergency coffee (or tea) and cake, which we believe is baked on the premises.
Lovely location, outside seating area on the green. Everything beautiful presented and staff very friendly and helpful. Great selection on the menu, breakfasts, lunch meals and cakes. Poached eggs on toast were some of best I've had. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be coming back.
We love tea rooms and this one is one our favourites. Fantastic location. Friendly staff. Delicious Sandwiches, Scons and Savory tea. And superb forged hooks and other nice gagdes from the local blacksmiths. Many greetings from Germany.
