Really lovely cafe, beautiful views of the loch if you sit outside, blankets are available if it's a bit chilly. Good quality food and coffee. The staff were really friendly. Parking can be tricky if it is busy but we didn't have any trouble finding a space. We have also had take away coffee and cakes from here too.

Tremendous cafe located right on the loch side. Friendly staff, very welcoming. Fabulous cake and coffee. Aside from the wonderful views, lots of wildlife to spot as if you sit outside.

Amazing place. Great that they allow dogs inside and out. Plenty of other places to go if you’re allergic!!!! Food was lovely. Location absolutely the dream location. Totally relaxing. Especially when the downpour happened and you’re sat on the decking bone dry. Loved it. Great experience.

The Boat Shed Loch Goil is an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking scenery surrounding the property. The serene Loch Goil provided a picturesque backdrop that was nothing short of magical. The Boat Shed itself is a stunning blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The interior design was impeccable, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I found the accommodations to be luxurious and well-appointed, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff at The Boat Shed were incredibly attentive and hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure my every need was met. Their knowledge of the area and willingness to share insider tips on local attractions and activities made my experience truly unforgettable. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the boat rides on the tranquil Loch Goil. Exploring the calm waters while surrounded by majestic mountains was an experience I’ll cherish forever. It was the perfect way to unwind and connect with nature. Furthermore, the dining experience at The Boat Shed was exceptional. The chef’s culinary skills were evident in every dish served, using fresh, local ingredients that delighted my taste buds. Each meal was a delightful journey of flavors that left me wanting more. Overall, The Boat Shed Loch Goil exceeded all my expectations. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or an adventure-filled retreat, this place has it all. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a slice of paradise and a truly unforgettable vacation. Love Scotland❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Great communication from staff on arrival re best place for alternative parking as moderate car park was full. They recognise the popularity and have begun construction of a takeaway place to help with reducing wait times. Good that they are aware that customers want to sit outside and are willing to accommodate indoor seating first, then outdoors when available to every customer. Staff clearly communicated about wait time in the queue and gave us clear expectations of our visit which was very pleasant. They were polite and handled the constant flow of customers very well. Food however, was ok. The cafe catered for meat and veggies. The highland vegetable soup was decent but the bowl gave an illusion of it being half full, or was it half empty? Very nice hot chocolate, not had a dark hot chocolate before. Great vibes, dog friendly, instagrammable views and even had blankets for chilly days.

We we’re staying locally at Drimsynie holiday park and saw this just up the lock. So we popped down for a spot of lunch. What amazing place in such a great location. Even though the weather wasn’t at it best we sat outside listening to the rain 🌧️ pitter patter on the roof whilst we struggled up drinking hot chocolate ☕️and eating at nice sandwiches 🥪. Whilst overlooking the lock 🗻 Please take the time to stop bye and bite to eat.

Absolutely beautiful location, we got a seat on the balcony. It is a single track windy road to get to it but totally worth it, food was tasty and service was great, very friendly and helpful staff, is dog friendly and has a small car park.

What a find! Lovely dog friendly cafe. Great views of Loch goil from the decking. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely scrambled eggs on toast & soup. The lemon & blueberry cake was recommended by the staff-delightful. Plenty of choice on the menu.

The service was fab, the staff were friendly and we were seated quickly as we sat inside. Some people had to wait to be seated outside. The chicken burrito was lovely, and I had a side of soup with it. The best thing was the vegan hot chocolate. Being dairy free, this is a massive bonus for me. I will definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. As we walked from Lochgoilhead to the boathouse, we had no issues, but we did see the carpark get quite busy as it was lunchtime. Fab staff, fab service, and fab views.

Perfect place for lunch, beautiful views, food was good and staff were lovely! The outdoor seating area was gorgeous, and they even had blankets in case it got too cold. The indoor seating area was lovely as well and it is dog friendly, which is perfect for dog walkers. They had lots of cakes with gluten-free and vegan options. The only downside would be the busy car park. I would definitely recommend it!

As all the reviews say the location is stunning, the staff are super helpful and friendly, we got the soup of the day and paninis which were great, single track road there and back can get very busy but the overall experience was 👍👌

What an amazing setting this little gem has, we visited The Boatshed Cafe today, and it was very busy. The owner managed it very well, and we didn't have to wait long. Brilliant service and nice food.

Great cafe. Very friendly, helpful staff. Dog friendly inside and out. Inside seating is cosy. Outside seating is on a covered deck, overlooking Loch Goil, with birds visiting from the nearby trees.
