My first visit since under new ownership and very pleased to say it was excellent. I booked Sunday lunch for visiting family and myself and all were impressed by the food quality and service. The staff made us welcome and nothing was too much trouble, well done. Our visit was made even more pleasant
Lovely little pub, extremely clean with comfortable seating. The food was excellent and the stack burger is easily in the top 3 burgers I've ever had (yes it really is that good). Popped in for a quick pint and received a very warm welcome. The landlord even bought doggy beer (water) out for our dog. Apparently, Sunday lunch is frequently a sell out with over a 100 covers which is impressive in what is a fairly remote location.
Visited the Farmers Arms whilst on holiday in the area and couldn't fault it. The food was great and all the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The dogs, Barney and Finn were made very welcome.
