We've eaten here several times, and today's Sunday Lunch was the best (as always). George and the team are so friendly. They are great with our toddler too, who also loves the food. Lovely setting and atmosphere. Great for families and couples. Can't recommend this place enough! Best Yorkshire Puddings too!

What a lovely place!! So glad we found it. Lovely people great service and a fabulous meal. The gravy was the best I've ever had 👌 . Meat veg and Yorkshire pudding plentiful and so well cook. The wine was my favourite, Romanian which is SO good. Then the sticky toffee pudding.......I didnt want it to end !! Can't wait to go again 💓 XH

Just been for Sunday lunch at The Cwtch and the only word I can use to describe it was faultless! Amazing food, amazing value for money, nice atmosphere and friendly intimate ambience. The best Sunday lunch you will find for miles around, we will be back!!

Amazing food, I ordered the chicken caesar salad. It was the best I’ve eaten! Great service. Only downfall was that my legs couldn’t fit under the table inside possibly the chairs are too high? I sat outside instead. It was lovey I will be going again. Would like to try the desserts :) would definitely recommend

A real gem of a place. George is a superb host and creates amazing locally sourced and expertly cooked meals. Very welcoming small restaurant that felt like a place that you can call your own. Thankfully about as far from a chain restaurant as you can get! Everything is crooked to order and George the chef personally walkes the dining room to check that the food is perfect. Ambiance is relaxed and friendly helped by 2 superb front of house staff while George does his magic in the open to view kitchen (assisted by another chef). Duck pancake rolls 9/10 Salt, pepper belly pork 10/10 (absolutely superb - you can really tell its been marinated for days, lovely depth of flavour). Teriyaki noodles and salmon 9/10 Surf n turf (10oz top quality local ribeye plus 8 large shrimp) 10/10 (Too many hand cut chips!) Sticky toffee pud and tiramisu both lovely. We'll not need to eat for a week! Small wine list but a well thought out selection. I work in many 5* restaurants (one has a Michelin star) and the Cwtch restaurant in Llantwit Major is as good if not better. Do not pass this by... Treat yourself! We'll definitely be returning. Bravo George 👏👏👏

Excellent find, food was amazing and service very attentive. Would highly recommend the seafood risotto! Though the lamb fell off the bone and was just as good. Lovely atmosphere and very relaxed.
