Me and my partner went here a little while ago 'cause I was nosing through Google Maps looking at the Pubs in the area that does food and that, and we liked the look of what this Pub has. (Plus we went here previously for a Pint and we liked it)
And we were not disappointed, the food here was fantastic. There was a handsome amount of food to fill your bellies and it all tasted so good!
We'll definitely be back for more. :)
Walked in and they were able to cater for 6 adults and 3 children they had the tables sorted within minutes drinks brought to the table the food was all freshly cooked it was great Thankyou
Went in to the white heart because they were one of few places serving food on Mondays food was lovely bar staff were polite helpful and paid attention to detail. Would recommend popping in for a bite to eat and a pint
Bartender David was an absolute star! He made are visit worth every minute. He made us feel welcome with bright smile and a can do attitude.
Lovely oldy, worldly pub...fab Sunday lunch...cozy bar area...huge beer garden...dog friendly in the bar...Nice, helpful staff!!
Decided to pop in for a meal, and so happy I did. I had a Cheeseburger with home made chips, and what a delight, the Burger was massive,and very tasty well garnished. My future treat now.

The food and the service in The White Hart has been excellent every meal we have had; however last night's meal was even more wonderful than usual.
Five of us were dining including, one (slightly strung out after school) three-year old around 5.30pm. When we sat down in the restaurant, staff came over straight away with a huge colouring book with stickers and lots of pencils for him which I thought really lovely.
The food was taking a little longer than the small person would have wanted and so the staff took the time to go get his meal ready first. Unfortunately my son just would not wait for the food to get cool enough for him to eat, burned his tongue on the hot macaroni cheese and got a bit upset. The bar staff were very sweet about it, made suggestions to help and brought over a big iced drink for him. Later on they even removed items from our bill to say sorry for my son burning his mouth, which was absolutely not their fault but extremely nice of them.
Our adult meals were, as usual, delicious, huge and made with lots of good quality ingredients. In particular the vegetable tagine was really impressive along with the enormous and well-seasoned chips!
My son was treated to chocolate ice cream for afters-my mother in law adored her salted caramel profiteroles.
We just love this place and the level of care and thought that was shown to us last night genuinely made me well up afterwards, we were so well looked after and the staff could not have been more attentive. We'll be back soon!
Clearly a lot of investment and care has been put into this pub over the past few years and in my opinion it's now the best pub in Llantwit. The beer garden is outstanding and it has a really nice interior. Friendly staff and decent prices too, really recommend it.
Dog friendly pub (in the bar area!) Had a cracking Sunday roast. The sort of meal you need a nap afterwards! Will definitely be back for more when in the area! Lamb was delicious, the chicken was massive! The plates are pre-veg!
Lovely pub in heart of Llantwit Majo town. The great food and wonderful staff. Had a great time there.

Two of us and our trainee guide dog were welcomed and invited to accept a reserved table that had been chosen for us. An apology was immediately proffered for menu items that were unavailable. We both chose slow cooked beef, which arrived after a brief wait and was tender and very tasty. The cost, including dessert and a bottle of decent house wine was reasonable. Altogether, a nice occasion. Almost good enough for five stars!
We had lunch here today for the first time, and found the food and service to be excellent. We will return!
Good beer and food, friendly, enthusiastic staff, great beer garden - plenty of shade and interesting planting.

four of us had a fabulous lunch last Thursday. We had booked, and when we arrived the kitchen was still having it's cooking hoods cleaned. The manager had telephoned us to pre-warn of a possible delay in serving us. We debated going elsewhere, and our waitress was very patient, however we were delighted that we stayed, the sea bass was outstanding and the chinese noodle chicken dish was really tasty. Thank you to the Chef and the polite staff of the Old White Hart
We had a lovely evening with friends. The food was fantastic, with a lot of good veggie options.
But the staff really made it a great evening, they were so accommodating with our 3 year old son, they even had him helping cleaning up in the end which he loved!! 😁

A regular place for Sunday lunch. Bring your appetite as the portions are generous.
