Been here a few afternoons recently to try they’re 2 4 £10 menu before my nightshift!
I must say have not failed to be satisfied even tho its at a budget price it’s still was good quality and well worth the money!
Decided to try the Sunday lunch also this week as I was impressed by the other bar meals and myself and my daughter were really satisfied leaving and can’t wait to return !

Went for a bite to eat here Sunday gone and safe to say I have found my new favourite place to sit in and eat. Marc, Jane and all the staff are very polite and helpful and the food... well that was something else!!
By far the best steak I've had including steak by night! (Same peas by the way) the garlic mushrooms to start were the bomb and my missis has pepercorn chicken which was again fantastic
All topped off with a few lovely gin cocktails for MORE THAN A REASONABLE price

Read the reviews on Facebook and decided to give it a try. What can I say !!! Would highly recommend it the meat just fell apart good choice of veg which was all cooked perfectly and the gravy was beautiful. One the the best dinners we have had in a long time. Thank you �
Well respected and liked landlord who gives nothing but the best for his customers. Food and drinks served here is something all food lovers must experience. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely making a regular appearance. Thank you again!!

oh my Lord just ate the best meal at the swan cooked by the amazing mark! the steak was better than the old!!! steak by night fair doos defiantly will be back fantastic x
Been for a lovely meal tonight, the atmosphere was warm and friendly, there was free tea and coffee available. The chef was so accommodating and made me a special order, suitable for my intolerances..they couldn’t have been nicer!! I will definitely be going back soon xx

I'd definitely make a point of coming for my Sunday dinner next time I'm over from New Zealand. Beef melted in my mouth. Dinner was delicious, just wish I had been able to finish it all!

We've been looking for places that serve tidy food around the area for a long time, meals that can be cooked to the same quality day in day out. Been to bar141 four times now, twice for Sunday carvery lunch and twice for food from the main menu.
Food quality is very good and well cooked with adequate portions all for a fair price. My only criticism, (sorry will substitute that word),observation is that the tables are so close together there isn't that much room between diners, but then again they have to make money, and the food quality makes up for the slight lack of room,. Service is good,food is good, prices are good, so overall I have to award them 5 stars...
They were short staffed in the kitchen so we had to wait a while for our food but it was worth waiting for. Huge gammon portions and delicious sweet potato fries
