I stay in Llanrwst every year and a visit to Top Chippy is always part of the experience. Staff are super lovely and the fish and chips are to die for...honestly, it's a good job I don't live closer or I'd probably have a weight problem.

This was our chippy of choice, during a recent stay at Hafodunos. Excellent food every time. I remember trying to Check In before this page existed on Facebook (I may even have created the initial location!), so it's good to see it's finally official. Hopefully be back in the near future :-)

Top Chippy is the best! I was staying in the area, Googled a good local chippy and tried this one. Very glad I did - great fish and chips and the fruity curry sauce was the best I have ever tried! Keep up the good work.
Fantastic chippy! Lovely chips, crispy batter in the fish and tasty chicken bites. But don't get me started on the fruity curry sauce! It is AMAZING! πππ
Was able to order by phone and went through to collect. We had steak and kidney pie, chips and gravy. Food was hot, fresh and very tasty, really enjoyed the homemade chips. Very reasonably priced too.
The guy that runs this place is in the finals for a competition to have the title of the best fryer (or whatever it's called!) in the UK.
He works for his grandma who had opened it for like 30 years. Really neat story, cool guy, and great fish and chip. I was watching him make it and you can tell he really takes the quality of it seriously. It's nice to see someone take ownership of what they're doing and care about doing it well. The price was great too so I'll add an extra π
Not greasy or oily, perfectly cooked, standard fish slightly small, burger really nice, AMAZING curry sauce. Really helpful and welcoming staff. Lovely!!
Top Chippy is a Top Chippy... What more can I say. Just moved to the area. This place is keeping me alive until I get a kitchen sorted. Good value. Good covid precautions. Lovely staff. Worth trying out.

Fish and chips not as good and up to the normal standard. The fish was flat, thin and relatively small and the chips not as crisp and fresh. Still enjoyable but not as good.
Had fish and chips here on a number of occasions when visiting this area on my bike. Never had a bad meal and even dressed in biker gear have always been welcomed.
