We attended the Halloween Family Night (I was playing in the band). A warm welcome, generous bar tab, lovely people and good range of drinks.
Pasted through on a cycling holiday. Made very welcome which is more than be said about the pub across the road. Turned out to be folk night and was made to feel at home by the excellent musicians even though we couldn't play. Thank you for making 2 weiry cyclists very happy.

Great pub, popped in for a quick pint great selection of local beers on offer along with popular lagers. Very friendly landlady. Pop up kitchen on the Saturday night. Sat outside in the sun and watched the world go by.
Great pub with a friendly welcoming atmosphere and a decent selection of ale. Fantastic live music on a weekend, We will be back.

Very old grade two listed pub that hasn't been ruined by being modernised or having its layout altered. No TV or jukebox blasting out either. Four intimate rooms and a snug. Rare in this day and age. Really friendly pub. Didn't do food, but said we could get a take away and eat it in the pub - so we had our fish and chips there. Really helpful - found us plates and cutlery. Nothing too much trouble. Maggie really 'went the extra mile'. Cheers!
