Me and my family went here yesterday to surprise my mum for her birthday, there was 15 of us, the service was lovely and the food was lush. The staff were all friendly and polite, definitely will be going again and would definitely recommend.
Went to The Old Ford Inn last night (Bank Holiday) at short notice. Very friendly welcome off the Staff. All courses served promptly and were piping hot. Could not fault the quality of staff or food. Looking forward to our next visit. Would certainly recommend this Inn to family and friends.
We had a fantastic meal. Went earlier in the day for a drink sat in the beer garden in the sunshine admiring awesome views. Popped back later for dinner. Great roast lamb dinner for me and the house special chicken for my wife. Both loved the food and went away feeling very content. Lovely staff, very friendly.

Booked for a group for a farewell lunch for a colleague. Initially 19 but no problem adding 2 more at the last minute. All seated and eating quickly. Food was fantastic, service was too, staff were super friendly. Would highly recommend this venue for a large group.

One of the nicest sunday roasts youll have in and around brecon. Service from staff is second to none and great value for money. Would highly recommend anyone to visit. Will be returning in the near future
Excellent place found by accident. Looking for something new and after ringing to book a table I knew I had made the right choice, such a friendly and accommodating demeanour.
We were a party of 6 and all order very different dishes. All six dishes were lovely, very tasty with high quality ingredients.
The staff even tolerated my 6 year old ordering all our dishes and happily played along.
In short this is a fabulous place, with great food and some of the best views of the Beacons you will ever find.
I will definitely be returning here. Thank you very much for a lovely evening.
Stunning Sunday lunches, wanted to try evening meals so went on Thursday and again they didn't disappoint. I'm celiac and they have plenty of gluten free options available. Will be going again soon

I am delighted to share my thoughts on The Old Ford Inn. My walking group B123 Walks recently stopped by this lovely inn after a walk in Brecon, and we were blown away by the Sunday lunch and service. The food was delicious and homemade, using fresh and local ingredients. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere was the perfect end to a long walk. The Old Ford Inn truly knows how to take care of their customers and provide a top-notch dining experience. I highly recommend this inn for anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service.
We’ve driven past so many times it was really nice just to be there today. We arrived for the 1st Sunday Lunch Sitting. Lunches were really good value - £12.95 for either Roast Beef, Lamb or Chicken and a vegetarian option as well. Service was very quick and efficient, but young friendly and very efficient team of girls. All the food came out of kitchen nicely presented and piping hot. Asked for extra gravy which was no problem and we got a sauce boat full! Both Beef and chicken were very tender, beautifully cooked and very tasty and there was a wonderful selection of nicely cooked vegetables. Sadly we were too full to have a dessert afterwards, (£5.95) but the goodly selection of choices on the menu sounded delicious. Next time perhaps ….. and there will definitely be a next time! 🤩 Can highly recommend for good down to earth, no messing about food.
Staff are super friendly and welcoming. Sat outside in the gorgeous sun with an amazing view. Food was exactly what we needed, just normal pub food, at great value. Thank you The Old Ford inn, you were just what we wanted.

We had the most tasty Sunday lunch. The meat was cooked to perfection and served with a good choice of vegetables. The choice of desserts was good. Excellent service and wonderful views from the dining room window. Would certainly recommend .

Atmosphere was warm and inviting, busy with lots of customers which was a great sign.
Food choice was plentiful, something for everyone. What we ordered was excellent! We had the lasagne, chips and garlic bread - amazing; good portion, full of meat which was good quality, epic cheesy topping too!
The other dish we ordered was the BBQ chicken, with bacon and cheese - super tasty; juicy chicken, plenty of sauce and cheese, bacon was good. Chips were so good and the right amount in a portion.
We would highly recommend this little gem of a place and look forward to visiting again if we're passing through!
Really lovely place. Stayed here for a couple of days for a wedding just up the road (less than 10 min walk to peterstone court if you're in the same boat).
Staff could not be friendlier and the food and drinks were very good. Rooms were clean.
Laid back, friendly service with excellent food and big portions.
Good ale and good value. We always eat here on every visit to the Brecon Beacons.
