Called in around 7 pm on Monday the 23rd of October 2023, purchased fish and chips, at £9.50. A bit expensive I thought but everything's shot up, WOW, was it worth it, a lovely large thick tasty piece of fish and a huge amount of well cooked chips, fantastic. There was so much chips I had to leave a lot, I took them home and they were ample for another meal when reheated.

Been meaning to leave a review after a visit in June , after going the chip shop on the main street seeing the state of the place & the cook ?? Wearing a dirty apron, decided to try here & was I glad only had a cod & two buttered rolls but absolutely perfect fish love it ! , Staff friendly & clean shop will definitely go again when in the area
The best chippy in Llangollen. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Fish freshly cooked as you order, fantastic chips , mushy peas and a curry sauce a must.
Chips are lovely! And my friend enjoyed her steak pie. However they no longer do gluten free since December so please keep that in mind if you see other reviews about gluten free :)
Good food. Fish was thin but in crispy batter. Chips good. Pie good. Curry was fruity type, good. Loses a star as fish was at the bottom of the bag under every thing else and they had run out of peas with two hours left of trade? Otherwise still worth a visit. Would recommend.
Very good value, but the chips were very greasy the last time we went.

Stopped as I was driving through for just a bag of chips. But OMG they were definitely the best chips I've had in many years. I'm going to have to go back that way and try the fish...... Great food
Came back two weeks later. Large fish with small chips. Cooked fresh. WOW such a large fish and so tasty, not greasy. Chips still fantastic.
Roll on my next visit.

Honestly say the best fish & chips I have eaten in years … cooked fresh while you wait would highly recommend, sadly it’s our last day here so won’t beable to return … definitely next time
Really fantastic to find lovely gluten free chips in Llangollen! Separate fryer. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their food too, the chips, scampi and cod. Many thanks Kelly's :-)

Best fish & chip shop around. Everything cooked fresh, so food isn't as quick as others, but definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend!

We are back home now in Wiltshire and how we wish we had Kelly's Chippy nearby. We ordered Cod and Chips for one and the guy kindly cut it in half for us and served it in separate boxes. OMG it was gorgeous. The chips homemade - a real treat and the batter on the fish to die for. We both so enjoyed our supper in the car park opposite. Thank you Guys for the best meal and highlight of our holiday in Chester.
