Stopped here whilst on a Motorcycle trip around wales. Nice place friendly atmosphere. Bonus points for the car park attached, free parking all day for customers. A round of drinks is much cheaper than most of the parking nearby. Also bikers welcome, at least we were anyway.

Stopped off here for a Sunday Roast and I have to say I am so glad that we did. The beef was to die for, and with all the trimmings of a traditional roast plus the staff being so friendly and it was a perfect Sunday Roast Dinner. We had some room for a dessert and that just topped off visit. If this was my local, I would be in there 7 days a week. Also if you are eating here you get a ticket for free parking. I cannot recommend this place enough. We be stopping off here again very soon.

This pub is warm, cosy and very friendly on Winter evenings, but in Summer it's exceptional. It's two tier beer garden overlooking the River Dee, stunningly good real ales and good pub grub are a winning combination.

Staying locally fir a couple of nights I decided to visit this pub that I had previously visited with and who lives locally. Excellent service and advised to drink a local beer which was very good. Previously visited the pub in the daytime and not impressed but this evening's visit was a vast improvement. Sociable locals and a good atmosphere Will visit again

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff and locals. Menu looked very good with home cooked local food. Drinks very reasonable compared to other pubs in Llangollen. Interesting history surrounding Ponsonby.
