Superb location overlooking the river. Great menu and welcoming friendly staff. We visited for lunch on the recommendation of a local friend. Seanass Greek feta, a steak burger and garlic bread later we were very satisfied. Nicely cooked and presented food. Book to avoid disappointment especially i
Superb restaurant and bar in a convert Cornhill that has retained many original features. As its located down a small side street right by the river it could be easily missed, but it's well worth finding. Food and setting were excellent. We where lucky enough to have a table right by the window over
Lovely pub great view of the fast flowing river nice outside balcony over looking the river under the bridge. Food was lovely ordered Mushroom Soup, and Chicken Liver Pate.
What a lovely find. I thoroughly recommend The Corn Mill, we were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to our table. The table service was impeccable. Each time any of them came to the table we were greeted with smile. The food was delicious I had the fishcakes which I really enjoyed. For pudding I
Great food, really tasty and well cooked. Meals are well thought through and presented very aesthetically. The service was really friendly, very attentive, and prompt. It was a very busy night when we went and normally places struggle when they are so busy, but it absolutely did not effect the staf
Lovely pub, your team are very friendly and welcoming! You sadly ran out of the whipped goats cheese and kindly gave us some free haloumi fries which were fantastic, much appreciated. Very impressed and hope to come back one day! Many thanks for a lovely evening (our last evening of the trip and cer
Great portions, lovely clean tasty food, all of our differing palates were satisfied, and a great price. We shared 5 starters and enjoyed all, falafel, halloumi, squid, olives and baked brie. Mains were the steak burger, fish and chips, chilli beef salad and pan seared sea bass. Desserts were lemon
Brunning + Price are reliably good everywhere and The Corn Mill is no exception. Good choice of local ales, and tasty food. Views are perfect.
The food was absolutely delicious and the setting next to the river was really lovely. Would definitely come here again.
Beautiful views ofer river Dee and Llangollen, great food and atmosphere. Decent prices and nice staff, so really no reason not to dropp in for a meal, pint or a juice. Thanks for the great food. We really enjoyed it and the views from the outside area.
We booked a week ahead of time since we were dining on a Saturday night, to assure a table. The dinner selections were unique. I ordered the Apple/Potato Pie. It was fabulous! We were seated next to a window overlooking the river. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Everything about this venue is perfect. The food...amazing, the location and river view...superb, the staff...delightful. I could eat here every day and be a very happy man.
Wonderful food, excellent service The Corn Mill has been grinding flour for at least seven hundred years and owes its foundation to the Cistercian monks of Valle Crucis. It is first mentioned in a 13th century document dealing with a fishing dispute between the freemen of Llangollen and the Abbot.
Came across the Corn Mill after mooring up overnight at the basin on our canal boat. Great atmosphere and range of beers. Dinner on the terrace was great and the views are outstanding. Recommended 👍
Loved the food and menu. Great location 👌 Service was ok but asked for tissues and no condiments. Was very busy however so I can't fault them
Lovely pub overlooking the River Dee. We spent a very nice hour here eating lunch. Food and service was excellent. Watching the boats hit the rapids whilst eating was a first for me! Great fun 😊
OMG! The black garlic chicken was like something out of this World - a totally awesome taste to the garlic and the combo with the sweetcorn was just divine. Probably the best meal (so far) that I've enjoyed at a B&P We also love the fact that you save some dog-friendly areas of your pubs so that t
OMFG these chips are to die for. They've obviously travelled here through a portal from a world restored to righteousness. The fish wasn't bad either and they have a decent selection of local ales. Staff went the extra mile to help.
Absolutely love this place. Really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere. Gotta be one of the best pubs in Wales!
