Absolutely delightful landlord. Rang up to see if we could pop down for dinner with 3 adults and 3 children. He saved us a table and when we got lost on the way and rang he gave helpful directions! Lovely food and varied menu. Excellent service. Lovely atmosphere.
Visiting the area, made to feel very welcome by the friendly landlord and locals. Good quality food, good prices and good portions, perfect. Would highly recommend 😊
The best seafood platter I’ve eaten at a pub, the staff were an absolute delight (the landlady was especially amazing), very reasonable prices and a very cute atmosphere with a Welsh setting.

Recently refurbished this country pub is now brighter and more welcoming for the non-local (some of these older pubs might seem charming but have a distinct "you're not local" atmosphere). That's not true here: friendly staff, good beer and while some might find it a bit quiet - it is a country pub
Dropped into the pub on the off chance of food after a long day. Good menu, with great service. Lots of chat with the landlord, with a great choice of spirits, although driving meant we couldn't imbibe! Lovely clean lines of a local pub 👌
Lovely warm welcome from the landlord who made us feel very valued. Food was cooked fresh to order, great portion sizes and reasonably priced. All in all a very pleasant evening. We'd definitely come back here to eat and will definitely recommend !
Lovely place after a hike in the Brecons. Loved my vegetarian lasagna. My friend not so keen on his curry but quantity was excellent. Recommended by me. Thought staff service was excellent. Both meals and a couple drinks each about £30 , friendly locals too.
Visited this pub during our weekend away where we had a lovely warm welcome. There's a good choice of drinks and plenty of choice on menu all at reasonable prices.
The food was excellent, it was hot and the portion sizes were very good. I would certainly recommend this pub.
