Excellent place, I am so glad we stopped here. Very dog friendly, the food was excellent (we had a burger) and the service was great. Lovely ales on draught. The food was brilliant and at a great price. Highly recommend.

Great rural pub, wasn't expecting it to look so nice inside. Sunday roast was delicious, good price, can't fault it at all.
Could not get in for lunch at the first pub we called at as they were full. So moved on to this one. First time here. No one else in the place eating except us. Had large restaurant to ourselves for whole time. Lacked atmosphere with no one else in. However, food was OK. Think it was priced a bit up
Had meal here on Saturday and it was lovely. It was steak night, we had table service due to covid. Food came in great time and the staff were lovely. They made out anniversary meal a great one. I'd reccomend booking before going.
First visit for me...after the initial 'blip' (apparently we had no table booked) even though my sister had left a message on answerphone and then rang...the service was good and food lovely too....recommend Plas yn Dinas 😊

Called in for tea tonight... & yes it was as good as we hoped. We hadn't booked but it was early (5 ish) so could be fitted in (just). Friendly staff lovely surroundings & a straightforward menu of good quality very tasty food prepared to perfection. As Arnie said I'll be back ... to explore more of

Excellent food. Excellent customer service. Stunning venue located in a beautiful village & stunning walks around it. Good beer garden for the warmer months. Dog friendly. Only a 15 minute drive from the towns of Oswestry & Welshpool. And a top landlord in Dougie. A must visit!
