The Jolly Fryer - Llanfairfechan - Photo album

I had an incredible experience at this fish and chips store! The owners were so welcoming, allowing me to dine in and engaging in a delightful conversation. The fish was simply mouthwatering—succulent, fresh, and fried to perfection with a crispy batter that complemented it beautifully. The chips we
Lovely family run chip shop. Art on the walls wild chilies growing in the shop. Very friendly and definitely the best chips in the whole of North Wales.
Called in today and feel need to write a review. The best fish and chips I have ever had without a doubt! Served by a lovely welcoming and friendly couple. I shall definitely be returning.
The best fish and chips shop in Wales. Fish is in big size and very fresh. Batter is crispy and tasty. Reasonable price. Kind owners. If you are in this area, please try this shop.
The best fish n chips served in north wales. Fresh cod in batter and golden chips, picked randomly yesterday but turned out to be absolutely delicious.
Great tasting fish and chips . Perfectly cooked , large portions . Told it was their first month as new owners , hope they do well . Only downside - cash only.,
Chunky and crispy Perfect battered fish Cooked fresh to order Count the memories, not the calories!
Absolutely banging fish and chips tonight. Love the curry sauce top!
Tried here on an October Friday evening. Parked up the street. Two lots of cod, chips and mushy peas for £18. Waited about 10 minutes to be served. Generous portions and well cooked. Particularly liked the batter and tasty chips. A little heavy with the salt. Would recommend.
Came to Llanfairfechan for a long weekend. Family tradition to have fish n chips on the first night of a holiday. The jolly fryer did not disappoint. I'd say it was probably up there with the best fish n chips we've ever had. Fish (cod) was a good size portion, with perfect crispy batter. Chips were
A little gem of a place in a sleepy village. My partner and I had the fish and chips and beef burger. All were excellent and felt like good honest food made with heart. The friendly owners also gave us some recommendations on places to see in the area. Definitely a great place to drop by for food (a
Not exactly the nicest looking establishments, but the food was cooked fresh and was tasty enough. Not a huge menu or choice but fine for fish and chips. Not the easiest place to park near to due to the narrow road and bend, but that doesn't seem to stop people from doing so...
Last minute decision to go here without looking at reviews etc and we were very surprised. Everything was cooked fresh to order and the chips were excellent, a quick easy meal turned out to be a fantastic one! Highly recommend!
Fast and generous portions. Would definitely go again.
Lovely staff and we enjoyed the takeaway. Not the biggest portions (we have the regular chips with fish and a sausage) but filled us up and was good quality and tasty.
The god was very good. Should accept cards though.
