A lovely little escape from the crowds and breathe in the sea air. Driving around the Great Orme never lasts long enough, the views are just beautiful, so to have this little pit stop makes the experience longer and memorable. It's easy to pull in with free parking, staff are friendly and have a variety of drinks and bites. 'Rest and Be Thankful' is the perfect name for it x

The great place to take kids pets in your whole family parking there you have to pay food and drinks and an absolute fantastic view. Can get a bit windy though there is a tram that takes you up the top or you can drive or walk if you are fit enough. Very steep hills to get out there. Well worth it

Location, location, etc, that's what it's about, and R&BT has that, what a location on Marine Drive. A lovely spot, good parking and a cosy interior. Unfortunate start to this visit though, I was thoroughly ignored by the young lady at the counter, not sure why, she seemed fine with those in front of me, two reasons I can think of, love or hate, anyway who knows, a shame but let's get to the good bit. My order was taken by a nice friendly gent, and after I received my coffee I went outside to stare at the sea as you do. Stunning. After a minute I was interrupted by the gent who proffered two biscuits saying I had forgotten mine, and I got an extra one just because. He also pointed me to the roof terrace which I might have missed. Up there I took in the view and my coffee, and wouldn't you know it, best coffee I'd had during my recent travels, made with love then I guess...

On our route via Marine drive we came across this cute cafe. Staff were warm and friendly. Had amazing hot chocolate with marshmallow and fresh cream and lovely lemon drizzle cake and carrot cake. Highly recommend to stop and experience this cute place if going via great orme Marine drive.

The cafe let's you park over night for £10. They serve home made cake, bara bryth, coffee and tea. No facilities but an awesome view and secure gravel car park. You get the gate code so that you can come and go. I enjoyed a beautiful sunset and a rainy morning

Great cafe located halfway round the Great Orme in Llandudno. Always a welcome place to stop when walking the coastal path. They serve hot drinks and some wonderful looking cakes. They also have toilet facilities. Great views from the garden outside.

A special place for sure! Worth the stop, even if it’s cold. We were lucky to have a food and drink truck there when we arrived, I believe it’s there most of the time. A hot chocolate was necessary as it was bitterly cold, but worth every second!

Great and very welcoming place. You can drive there (parking is free) or walk which I highly recommend as by the car U will miss lot of beautiful views and scenery. Inside straight away You will feel positive energy from the staff. Coffee taste lovely especially with the views surrounding the place. Cakes are nicely too - we had slice of coffee and walnut (delicious). It can be slightly windy outside as the place is surrounded by cliffs so if U would like to sit outside get the good windproof jacket etc. One more tip - If You would like to walk start from Llandudno pier and keep walking around 50min to this place, rest.. get the coffee and either U can come back the same way or U can keep walking forward to North Shore Beach. Views are stunning

After a long ride, came upon this cafe just at the right time. Lovely re-energising food and coffee, even re-filled my two drink bottles up for my return journey. thanks

Bought coffee but mainly stopped here on an overnight stop in the motorhome. £10 without facilities. Safe as the gates are locked when the cafe closes (gate code provided in case you need to leave before the cafe opens). Excellent spot for walking, sightseeing and sunsets. Was a quiet night once the boy racers had passed around 10pm.

The ride to this place is fantastic. You have to pay toll to proceed on the one way bendy road. Toll is £ 4,50 for a standard car (August 2023). It is definitely worth it. The rocks on one side, the stunning views on the other side. Rest & Be Thankful is located at the head of Great Orme. There is plenty of free parking space. One of the ladies seemed a bit stressed when taking the orders. The coffee is, however, very good. So are the cakes! You can sit inside or enjoy the views outside.

Wonderful location with an amazing view. As said in the wall "By the sea all worries wash away". There are also beautiful small paintings with a price of 2.5 pound (I couldn't buy them as I did not have cash, so you need cash to buy them).

Good place to stop and rest on a walk round the Great Orme. Pity that the loos were out of order. 25/08: still great service and one of the loos was operating Updated 2023: same as last post
