We stayed at the adjoining hotel for one night following the fireworks display and ate breakfast here. The staff member was very friendly and made an effort to talk to my son which was really great to see. The breakfast was very nice and cooked fresh. My main issue was that it took around 35 minutes for the cooked selection to arrive, we did have a coffee and juice during this time but we hadn't chosen to eat anything from the cold selection which made for a long wait first thing. The one front of house member of staff was very busy but always very helpful and friendly.
Staff are very pleasant, food is good, nice views from a small beer garden to the front, could maybe do with condiments in bowls rather than sachets?
Glad to have found this whilst visiting the area as I was able to have two good sized gluten free meals, as I was struggling to find anything else in the area.
We sat outside as we had a dog with us, and the seating area could have been a bit more appealing but the views were great. Friendly staff and quick service!
Fantastic Place Hidden gem, for a Fab meal here is the place, not Expensive Family Friendly. Has a Pool table and A Bar area a Up Scale Weatherspoon With nice Food,
Tonight my husband and I have been out with our 2 children aged 4 and 1. Child aged 1 has dairy and egg allergies. We don't eat out very often because I'm nervous to risk any accidents happening when someone else cooks for her - but I could not be more pleased with our trip out tonight!
The first question asked was, "any allergies" and a full folder/allergy menu was given to us which was very clear. We managed to find something easy enough that she could have and when ordering, it was stated on our order by the bar staff what her allergies were. Her food was brought out separately first and it was clearly mentioned this was the allergy meal. She absolutely loved it and we've had no issues with a reaction so far!
The staff were helpful and friendly enough and the pub was nice and clean. The food we all had was delicious too!
10/10 trip from a still nervous allergy Mum, thank you!
Called in after a day out on the off-chance, having been to other Brewer's Fayre places elsewhere. Wasn't disappointed either. Had a rump steak which, happily, was cooked to perfection (medium-rare!) and the puddings were nice too (only had the one though - vanilla cheesecake). Staff were very friendly, courteous and attentive. Will probably go again if passing by!
Very friendly staff an very helpful! Food was quick and nice. Decent portions too
We had the trio pies w/ mash, peas & gravy & steak w/ side salad & peppercorn sauce.
We booked a table this morning for Sunday dinner. When we arrived we were welcomed by a lovely lady, she asked about allergies so I told her about my food allergies, she went and looked at everything for me. I felt such at ease there as she made sure I was able to have what I wanted. Lovely friendly staff, food was absolutely amazing. Will be definitely going back there again.
Food was lovely, but it did take 50 minutes for food to come. No warning of a delay when ordering. I think we were forgotten about because we saw surrounding tables get their food even though they ordered after us. One gentleman commented about our wait. When we asked if they could check on our food it arrived minutes later.
Popped in when staying at premier inn, next door great location food good unfortunately my food was fine but my husbands was dried out and not fresh.
