Stunning location, with a view of the hills meeting the coast. Popular but not too busy. The cake and coffee were delicious and the staff lovely. We will definitely go back.

Stopped for a coffe after a walk along West Shore. Nice little cafe with a good range of food, hot and cold beverages. Seagulls are a pain though if you sit outside.

Visited yesterday - We had Chicken and bacon ciabatta, crab roll and a bacon, brie and cranberry ciabatta (plus a couple of bowls of chips), really nice food and despite being very busy we didn't have a long wait - I don't expect miracles in such places as they are often under a lot of pressure when crowds turn out on sunny days, but it was far better than a lot of cafes I've been in. Clean quick and very enjoyable, just the job after a walk on the beach.

Only just discovered this little cafe! We didn't eat but the food being served looked good and the prices are reasonable. We only had a coffee but next time we will try lunch here after our walk . Staff were pleasant. The atmosphere was lovely, sitting outside overlooking the sea with customers enjoying the views and chatting away.

Called in for breakfast whilst on a visit to the area. We were not disappointed. Great cafe, superb food, great price and amazing staff. Seemed to be popular with locals. Not surprised at all, if I lived locally I would be in everyday.

Great little cafe on West beach. Decor was alot nicer on the inside than out. They were only serving drinks and cakes when we went due to staffing issues. So can't comment on the food. Coffee was nice. Reasonably priced.

Good food but order was mistaken and we received something different. When I went to sent it back unfortunately I've seen the cook reaction. He was extremely nervous, swearing a lot. I'd say if you can't keep calm you clearly don't suit gastronomy. Won't be back as I don't like nervous people around me.

The Welsh rarebit & leek & cheddar quiche are a must try. The smoothies were delicious and were the highlight of the meal.

Had a really lovely lunch here today with my elderly father. Disabled parking outside and easy access in. Outdoor seating with fabulous views...very dog friendly. Very clean inside and really pleasant staff. Very varied menu with lots to choose from....good portion sizes, hot and well presented. Nice to see one of the chefs helping to serve in the cafe....probably a staffing issue but showed great team work! Highly recommended.

It's just what you want when you visit the sea.. a lovely little Beach Cafe right on the shore.. Sun was out too.. so the outdoor seating was perfect.. I hadn't Gluten Free cake , there were a few GF choices, I went for the Avocado cake.. lovely... Will definitely be returning

A first visit for our lunch after a lovey coast walk, nice size cafe with seating also outside, we had well filled sandwiches which came with side salad and crisps. Very nice and will visit again.

Great little Cafe, it's been there for years, great little stop off to refresh and take in the amazing views. excellent service, friendly staff, we didn't have food this time we only had drinks, but everything looked delicious. would recommend to anyone but just note it can get busy and spaces inside are limited.

Just came to visit sister in law and nephew for a few days, come from Leeds. You gotta eat here at West Shore Beach Café. Fabulous food not greasy but quality sit out the views are great. The staff all of these girls and the male cook/chef fantastic, polite an asset be family run or not all professional. Well done 👍 hopefully be back in just over when on A/L.

For a cafe at the end of the prom on a cold March weekend, I wasn't expecting much. But the food was excellent and piping hot (perfect when you're sitting outside with the dogs), staff were welcoming and the views are lovely. A welcome surprise and I'd heartily recommend it to anyone. Update: went back on a sunny June Saturday and it was just as nice. Would pick it over the Lily for food anyday.
