Well I had read quite a few reviews but was a little shocked from the outside as part of the building is wrapped in corrugated steel and not welcoming in anyway. However we pressed on. The restaurant is above a Marston pub and is actually quite tastefully decorated with a striking colour pallet including orange and black! Loved the booths giving you privacy but still hearing the hum of other conversations. The waiter was so friendly, funny and professional. He really made the experience. You will actually get two waiting staff and two bills, one for the drinks from the pub side and one for the food. Both bills are presented together making it an easy if not unusual experience. The food was good, loved the Chicken Chat and all our party enjoyed the evening. The portions are large. The staff chicken dish was a little bland but the rest ultra tasty. Best lime pickle I have ever tasted and will return.

So like most people are saying the building looks uninviting but don't judge a book by its cover as the restaurant is colourful and lively. The service was good however waiting nearly an hour for our food when it wasn't very busy wasn't good. The food itself was pretty good apart from the naan was not cooked enough and was quite stodgy and the chicken tikka was chewy and didn't taste fresh. Was going to give this place a 3 but the waiter didn't try to rectify the problem and brought me some new chicken. This was better but not as tender as I'm used to eating curries around the UK.

This place is a hidden gem and I’m so pleased to have found it as I love my India food and we lack good restaurants on north Wales. I had mixed grill sizzling plate, jalfrezi curry sauce and a nan. I asked for a couple of tweaks and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and I’m already planning to go back again tomorrow night.

Food was delicious and tasty. I had papadums, welsh lamb biryani, aloo Gobi and garlic-coriander Naan as well as the staff welsh lamb curry. The lamb was so so soft and juicy. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The customer service was excellent as well. Members of our dinner party had the chicken Tikka masala and thought it was a tad too sweet. So beware of that one.

Lovely little Indian with a nice, if slightly dark, atmosphere with no windows. Service is good with very friendly staff and an excellent choice of drinks on tap via the Maelgwyn downstairs. Food is excellent and tastes very fresh and the booth seating makes for a nice more private feel compared to just tables. Highly recommended!

Best Indian take away I have had for a long time. So good we went twice while only in the area for a few days. Staff were really friendly and very obliging with out order even though on one of them we were late in ordering. I had the North Indian dishes, which were fabulous. I fully recommend this place, excellent!

We went here for a meal whilst on holiday in Llandudno. This was by far our favourite meal whilst we were in Wales. Lovely food, big portions, friendly staff and we were encouraged to take our time and enjoy each course, and we were not rushed at all. Best indian food we have had in a very long time. Highly recommend! Thank you, from your London guests! :-)

Great Customer service! Nothing can beat it (except the food, which was tantalising) - best food I’ve had in a VERY long time! Look no where else other than here when you are in the area

Recommended by a friend. We were a group of 4. Don't be put off by the outside - the food is amazing. Lovely interior, very modern and spotlessly clean. Love the idea of the booths. All the staff are really professional and friendly and clearly take pride in what they are doing. We all had popadoms (spicy and plain) with dips (I was slightly disappointed that there was no mango chutney among the 4 dips, maybe I should have asked). I asked for a lamb tikka to start which wasn't on the menu - there was no problem with this and it was delicious. All the food is well presented when it's bought to the table and it was really nice to be asked between each course if we were ready for the next course. Really good menu. Great restaurant - highly recommended.

We really liked this Restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food arrived promptly. The portions were very large, the food was hot and very tasty. I had a curry with lamb in it, which was very tender and could be cut with a fork. Highly recommended, I just wish it was closer to home, if it was I'd go often.

Great tasting food and lots of it! Took some home as portions were very generous. Very attentive staff and pleasant environment, we had a high sided booth which felt quite private. Definitely recommend!

How wonderful it is when you find an unexpected delight of a restaurant. We are staying in Llandudno Junction, and expected to travel in to Llandudno for an evening meal; however a quick Google search for the best local Indian restaurant meant we didn't have too far to travel. The restaurant is located above a Marston's pub - drinks ordered in the restaurant come up from the pub, and you have to pay for the meal and drinks separately. The payments for both are taken at the same time though. The food itself was fantastic - my sweet chilli chicken using Naga chillies and mango was sublime. The heat came through, but so did the sweetness. As I said, sublime. All staff we dealt with were polite and attentive, but special mention must go to Opu who was charm personified. If I lived locally, this would definitely be my 'go-to' Indian restaurant of choice - they do also deliver.

Very high quality food and service at this great restaurant. Naga chicken and chicken Bhuna were both tremendous, as were our starters too. Don't be put off by the outside of the building. Once you go up the stairs into the restaurant it is very stylish and welcoming. Excellent service and value. Very impressed. Many thanks.
