Their Paninis are the best we've ever had. The owner told us that they are not made using Italian pastry/ bread but Spanish. Wish everyone would use the same - we'll be back next time we're coming through!
Very strong roast coffee, got a good kick from it. The presentation can be better (as you can see) but it is still a good place to have a quick pit stop. Oh the coffee cake is delicious.
Cycled here for breakfast!! Beans on toast with bacon & sausage. Pot of tea and fresh orange juice. Lovely foods with excellent happy service. Shame it’s on the main road with a lot of traffic. However, would still highly recommend.
Lovely family run cafe. Homemade food is delicious and very cheap. Excellent service.
Every year, for many years, my wife and I take our holiday in West Wales (from Greater Manchester), and every time we are here we visit PenyGawse for lunch once or twice during our stay. The food is amazing, large portions, good ingredients, and delicious. The service has always been lovely and help
An absolute gem of a place! Unassuming yet perfect in every way. Staff were friendly, food was delicious (and cheap!) - the Welsh Cawl was amazing!
Extensive menu at reasonable prices. I had a light veggie breakfast, which was nice. The coffee is well made & tasty. However, I did get a bit worried when ordering a Cortado & I was asked if I wanted a 'regular or large'. I went for the regular. When it arrived, in my opinion, it was a flat white &
Stopped in for lunch and coffee. Excellent food and friendly service. The smoked haddock fish cakes were delicious ♥️
Friendly welcome. Sat outside. Good range of cakes. 2 slices of delicious cake and a big pot of tea for tea £13. Bargain!
Moving to the area & were recommended . Well we were not disspointed Fantastic cafe the food was excellent will now recommend to our friends who will visit us
Delicious cup of coffee, enjoyed with a rather sweet raspberry flapjack (not to my taste). Staff, plenty of them, efficient and very pleasant. Loos clean and plenty of seating.
the perfect place to stop for lunch. delicious food & wonderful service, with a nicely comprehensive menu & breakfast all day, lots of it fresh & homemade.
Cakes were amazing as was the coffee. Such a great find. Definitely try the warm orange drizzle cake with cream. Scrummy!
Stopped here for lunch today which was excellent. Chips were to die for and the omelette and salad were good as well. Highly recommended
Beautiful hot chocolate and cheesecake, incredibly welcoming and forgiving of us staying a bit over closing time to feed our baby. Thank you!
Excellent service only had a coffee but the food looked fabulous
Best breakfast I have ever had! The staff are also really friendly.
What a wonderful cafe. We were there during breakfast hours but we were able to get the beef tenderloin sandwich. It was amazing. The staff was wonderful. It's definitely worth dining in.
My husband, son and I had a great light breakfast each when we called in while visiting Llandovery. Super food and lovely pot of tea! Friendly staff and quick service. Would definitely visit again if in the area.
