The home of “Llanpielo” and these pies are the best around. Been to the Angel a few times and the food has always been good and it is a nice place to come out for dinner, the pies are just a bonus. Alas, I was out of luck for a Beef Llanpielo (too popular) so it was a slow cooked beef and my partner had the “chicken Llanpielo” and it was good! Save yourself for desert as they come from Heavenly’s 😋 Staff are polite and the service is good, a good place for dinner in Llandelio If you like my review give us a like 👍

Heavy rain “forced” us into The Angel Inn to shelter - and so glad we did. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. We booked to come back on Friday evening for dinner and had a great meal. Food was lovely and staff quick & friendly. Got very busy so best you book in the evening. Great pub.

Very friendly pub with attractive, personal decor (eclectic mix of furniture including big sofas and wedding photos). Good range of well kept drinks and well judged menu that includes vegan options. Even at quiet times they will make you a decent meal. My favourite Llandeilo pub.

Had an amazing time for a 21st birthday meal! The staff were all very lovely and were happy for us to decorate the function room as we wished. Food was great also!

It's my 3rd visit to The Angel and its lovely, situated in the middle of Llandeilo on the main road its a lovely place to meet and eat, parking is fairly close and you'll be welcomed by very friendly staff. I had the monster burger today, couldn't finish it, it is a monster. Highly recommended is the slow roast lamb in mint gravy, its to die for. 5 stars for both staff and food. 👍

First visit to this pub as part of the Llandeilo Jazz 2018 festival. I really liked it. Somewhere I will definitely return to for a drink. A bit of a 'TARDIS' - much bigger on the inside, than it looks on the outside! Interesting 1st floor: part old Welsh living room, part Sistine Chapel - you'll need to visit to understand. Further beer garden/patio/smoking area. Didn't eat on this occasion, but the lunch menu looked 'homemade' and tempting.

Fantastic service from everyone who served us. Really good food and a great wine selection. There's a restaurant at the back and you can book a table in advance. The bar area is really cosy.

Great staff, lovely atmosphere and great food! The rosemary and beef burger with roasted garlic mayonnaise was up there with the best things I've ever tasted. Highly recommended.

Helpful staff, but take note of you want to pay by card for a quick beverage minimum spend is £10. Nice pub with dining area and rear patio area and smoking shelter.
