Best pub in the known universe. I'd recommend this place to anyone!
We are staying in wales for a few months . And found the valentine. The pub is spotless staff are lovely friendly people and the food is just fab .
Excellent local pub , probably the cleanest most well presented local I’ve ever been in , lovely staff really made me feel at home , definitely worth a try 👍
Pubs don't get much better than this. . Ive had the good fortune to have known the Val for 40 years - it is now in its finest hour. Congratulations to the owners for making it fantastic - and if you value the British local and want to ensure its survival, go now (while the log fires are still burning). Wonderful!
Took us a while to find this little den of iniquity what a fab pub ! Felt very welcome by both staff and in amongst the locals. Will be back to torment you on our weekend visits. �
Can't begin to say how much we love this place. Real hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet village. Ever changing selection of ale is extremely well-kept. Fantastic service, and always clean and cosy. Our fave pub to visit!
Nice traditional pub. Great beer, great entertainment, great people. What more could you want. I'd recommend the Wednesday jam nights especially. :)
Friendly and welcoming staff and customers. We popped in for a couple but ended up staying for the quiz. It’s a lovely pub.

We love the Valentine; it's one of the reasons we keep coming back to Bron Y Wendon. The staff are friendly and terrific hosts, real ale is exquisite and quiz nights good fun. The sort of pub every village should have....already looking forward to our next visit.

Absolutely love this pub, our favourite one in Wales. Always made welcome. The landlord and landlady are great hosts. We visit every time we stay at Bron y wendon caravan park, can't wait to go back again from Paul and Helen Burch

Always welcoming at the Val, we enjoyed the rugby with a few jars, and a bit of banter with the locals: highly recommended.
After a nice long walk, this is such a lovely traditional pub to have a nice cold drink or two or even three in... :-) Always made to feel very welcome... Hope to return in the very near future xx

Small pub with kind and friendly staff, it had a cosy atmosphere and a welcoming fresh beer garden out back. They offered a good selection of food with a great price.
It tasted amazing and was presented very well, I would highly recommend this place to grab a bite if you are on the area, very worth it!
Came here Saturday and was made to feel so welcome. Food and service both excellent. I love the quirky decor and the piano and so nice that dogs are welcome in the spacious beer garden.
I'd definitely recommend and return.

Lovely friendly pub, your traditional looking but with a quirky style , real fire very welcoming. Stayed on campsite near by easy walking distance not a lot of parking places. The food was excellent definitely go back when we stay again have live acts on too on certain nights.

Found it by chance by catching a bus and what a surprise. Lovely quaint Inn and fabulous food,good service and pleasant atmosphere and people. Going again tomorrow before we have to go home.
