Stopped in today on my way back down, and had some of the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. The proprietor was very friendly and welcoming and took the time to chat about and offer advice about the local area. The two dogs were also very friendly and laid back. Highly recommended. I intend to return.

We stopped on our way back down and the owner could not have been more helpful. Went above and beyond to assist our disabled daughter, even welcoming us into his house for her to use the toilet. Really lovely people; genuine and so kind. Well worth a visit.

Lovely stop after climbing Snowdon. Great location and friendly staff. The Bara Brith Cake is spot on!

Lovely spot and very friendly owner. Couldn't help enough in supporting our friends as they completed a charity event (8 ascents and descent). Coffee was spot on, dog friendly and although we were too wet and cold to hang around, they serve beer! Perfect to finish your hike!

After me and my partner battled gale force winds and rain to climb to the summit of Snowdon we stopped off for a "quick drink". What we found here was quite honestly one of the best places either of us have ever visited. The host Steffan couldn't have been more welcoming, got us sorted with hot cider and coffee with some Bara Brith in front of a roaring open fire. The cottage is lovely with exposed beams and a really homely atmosphere, and Bryn the black Labrador just topped it all off. We bought a jar of local honey, and they also sell t shirts to commemorate your achievement. I cannot recommend visiting enough, after a hard day's walking it will be just what you need.

Fantastic welcome when we got to the end of our Snowdon climb. Friendly staff including Bryn the dog and loved the personal touch of the owner sitting down to chat - will definitely pop in next time!

We had an incredible experience at Penceunant Isaf on our way back from Snowdon summit stopping for a cold beer 😁The atmosphere was warm. The owner's stories added a personal touch that made the time with local beer even more special. Their anecdotes about the restaurant's history, Welsh language really enhanced our experience. It's not just a place to eat; it's a place to connect with the food, the people, and the stories that bring it all together. Fully recommended!!!

The kindest most welcoming place ever. Upon attempting Snowdon my step daughter decided it wasn't for her so she went back ( quite near the start ) and decided to sit in the cafe while we went up. Nearly 5 hours later we arrived back she was so happy about the people she had met and couldn't speak highly enough about the owner and his family and other customers. She even came out speaking some Welsh. Many thanks for the hospitality I'm just sorry we didn't thank them in person but was rather shattered and not thinking straight. Thanks again Ben x

Stopped here for an ice cream on our way down from snowdon and one of the staff members (maybe one of the owners? Didn’t catch his name!) were so lovely! Told us about a great quiet spot to take the dog for a swim to cool off and just generally very kind and nice! Would highly recommend stopping in for a treat after your hike!
