Lovely staff & great service! Amazing food. We had a table of 9, all food was served at the same time. Drinks were ordered & served at the table. Fantastic experience all round!

We visited the Ship last week for a reunion dinner at the start of our holiday in Llanbedrog. We booked for 16 but 3 of our party were late due to train troubles. Staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating, even offering 'take away' fish and chips for our late arrivers. The beer was great, wine delicious and all meals were cooked well, substantial with plenty of choice for all, including vegetarians. My Thai green curry was excellent. All together a very positive and enjoyable meal at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended, and thanks again to lovely staff!

Visited with friends on May bank holiday weekend. The area is notoriously busy this time of year but they were able to fit us in. Huge bonus in a location where bookings a week in advance are normally needed. The food was fantastic, all the steaks were cooked exactly as requested and the cheese sauce and onion rings were awesome! Portions were huge! The staff were all really friendly and efficient. Couldn't fault it and will definitely be returning.

Sunday lunch was one of the best. The roast beef had been rested properly which many pubs don't allow long enough for.. Good value and top notch food. Service was excellent.. Attentive without being overbearing. The appetisers and sweet treat at the end was very welcome. Well worth a visit. New management started Aug 23 and it it continues like this it deserves to be a success. And dog friendly which is a big plus.

Great pub! Staff welcoming and friendly with fantastic service. Food lovely and good price with nice portion size. Had the sirloin steak and extra side of garlic king prawns, beautiful! Returning customer, never let down and would definitely recommend! Good car park, never struggled.

As soon as we got near, we could smell the bbq. Food was ok. Cheeseburger was pretty juicy and filled with lettuce, onions (raw) and a slice of tomato. The pizza is something you can get from the deli counter at the supermarket, so not bad. Fries were crispy. Lots of sauces to choose from. Everything was very cheap. We sat in a private hut and the food was brought to us very quickly. On the day that we went, there was a live performance.

We’ve just been for Sunday lunch at The Ship and were really impressed. The landlord made us feel very welcome from the outset. We were given a complementary appetiser of local bread and cheeses (which were delicious) and enjoyed two courses for £17.95. The food was a great standard and the service was 5*, we will definitely be back!

The tapas menu here is something they are definitely under-selling, the dishes we had were great! The dogs were also very well looked after and the staff (and the locals) were very friendly. Go there....now!!!

Excellent Sunday Lunch. I had the Lamb and my wife had Beef Wellington. Starters, Main and Dessert were all excellent and Great Value at £22.95 for 3 courses. I was shocked to find out that it was their first weekend doing Sunday Lunch as they were really good. Booking is a must as this place will be popular. Also made our Dog very welcome and gave her treats. The Real Ale was good too. Highly recommended.

We sat in one of the beach huts which was lovely! The food was great, service was great and couldn't fault them on anything. We had a couple of dietary requirements/allergies (lactose intolerant and dairy allergy) and they were more than happy to double check things for us. If we were more local we would definitely be popping in again! As it happens we were on holiday for the week and had 1 night kid free! We are very glad we chose this place!

Just had an amazing sunday lunch in the Ship. Delicious food, lovely, friendly staff. Service was amazing. The new owner was concerned about the wait we had for the food, but we didn't think there was a wait, and we were updated at all times by the staff. The food arrived, beautifully presented, hot and delicious, the duck bon bons, are wow, out of this world. We will definately be back soon, with friends and family. Good luck to the new owners.

Lovely dog friendly pub, had a nice family meal with our children. The fish and chips and fish pie was tasty. The kids had sausage and mash which tasted very nice for a kids meal they certainly loved it.
