Been to this lovely community pub many times. And it never fails to impress me. Delicious food, a relaxed friendly ambients. Great to see an old traditional British pub, still going strong, thanks to the volunteers who run it. Would highly recommend the Raven to anybody, definitely worth a visit.

We ate at the pub last night and had a lovely homemade meal by the roaring fire. The chef even went out of her way and made me a gluten free fish and chips using a gf flour for the batter and using clean oil. It tasted lovely and was a real treat as it's something you can't normally eat when you are gf and dining out. It tasted lovely and would recommend. My family all enjoyed their meals too and it is very reasonably priced. Top marks to a very well run community pub.

Thursday night had the special 2 rump steaks and a bottle of wine. Perfectly cooked and the service top notch. Great local pub, good atmosphere from the locals at the bar. Live locally and come often (not often enough)!!. and always a good welcome. Bar is dog friendly so great for walking and stopping off for a well deserved pint. Keep up the great work

We stayed over last Friday, had a brilliant day riding the trails at llandegla and was just planning on crashing out here once we got back. Oh no, we got to the bar, got chatting and was made to feel right at home. We ordered some fantastic food and drank far too much in the end! A really lovely place to stay, we will be back. Thanks to all those who made our trip so memorable. PS nip to the shop in the morning, the pasties are amazing!

Lovely place to stay. The hotel was very welcoming and room was lovely. If you get time try the local shop they were very friendly too and some lovely home baked cakes (Bakewell slice and millionaires shortbread mmm). The pubs food was tasty, well priced and big portions. Bar was well stocked and try Rosies cider ;). Will definately be back.

Another beautiful meal. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff (all or some of which are volunteers). This is a community run pub which is at the top of its game. Love it.

We came here on Bank holiday weekend and ordered the roast beef dinner....it was very good lots of beef and vegetables...how nice to have your vegetables cooked perfectly...I had the raspberry pavlova which was divine and as always the service band atmosphere was excellent. This pub is always consistent in its food quality...never fails to deliver a tasty dinner...keep up the good work.

The Raven is 16th century Country pub with roaring fires and hearty food. Its location in the village of Llanarmon nestled in the Clwydian hills is idyllic. The service is excellent and staff are friendly.

Been for Sunday lunch today (17th July 2022).All the staff were fabulous, friendly and happy with a bit of friendly banter. The lady who took our food order explained that the sharing platter starter had been taken off the menu due to the main chef being on leave.....Well, if he cooks food to a higher standard than his replacement, one can only wonder what the quality is like. There were 4 of us and we shared 4 different starters. All were perfect in both quality and presentation. For mains, 2 had lamb shank, one had ploughman's and I had roast beef...again all were amazing, in fact to get beef to be so tender it must have been slow roasted for days !!!. Absolutely fantastic and at just over £125 with 3 drinks each, great value. Well done ladies and chef, you all excelled. Will certainly return again. Not a bad review from a grumpy old Yorkshire man but credit given where credit is due 😃👍

The Raven is our go to pub when we are away at the caravan. The pub is community ran and a real integral point of the village. All the staff and users of the pub are welcoming and to make things even better, they are a dog friendly pub. The choice of drinks are well varied and the food is first class. The portion sizes are ample and we particularly love their roast dinners, haddock and chips and the little baskets of scampi. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep and would recommend this pub to anybody.

My other half and I had the Sunday lunch last week. I had the roast beef it was excellent. It was melt in the mouth delicious, the Yorkshire pud was the biggest I've seen and that too plus potatoes and veg were excellent. My other half had the lamb shank and he said that it was delicious. We will definitely be back. Well done best Sunday lunch in a long time.

What a beautiful little find, We found The Raven Inn and had a beer. The staff were very nice and friendly. Sunday roast was being served until 3-30pm. It's closed on a Monday. We will be back in the week for lunch. Looking forward to it. X
