Visited the Limekilin tonight on request of the new managment, after giving the place a bad review, and was pleasantly surprised, it had a warm and welcoming atmosphere the staff where excellent, Laura,and Stewart worked hard to make our stay enjoyable the food was to a high standard. I would recommend a visit to a nice and presentable restaurant with excellent staff and atmosphere.
Great birthday meal with four adults and 4 kids in April. The kids were amused in the play area whilst ouf food was cooked. Somehow the kids meals were served with the wrong sides, but quickly corrected. Staff kindly supplied some birthday candles for our cake as I forgot to take any and they all sang happy birthday as they brought our cake to us. Reasonably priced food and drink too.
Food and service were absolutely faultless. I had the sirloin steak and it was absolutely perfect. Staff us still a bit new but were all friendly, polite, and professional. :)
Only criticism is the music..... Everyone to their taste I guess but having elevator music playing constantly was a bit much.. ;)
Staff friendly. We had cooked breakfast which was very nice and filling. Will be back soon.

Quick friendly service lovely food excellent prices
My friend and I visited this place. First time since it has changed over from The Lime Kiln. We were both pleasantly surprised. There is a very warm and inviting welcome. Lovely Meet and Greet by Ross. Also excellent service from Arran and Ross. Also the young lady who served us. My friend had the haddock and chips which she said was absolutely delicious. I had the two home made mushroom and peppercorn sauce tartlets served with cauliflower, carrots and green beans. Was also absolutely delicious. We then both had the meringue nest with mixed berries. This was also extremely tasty. We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend this place. Service, ambience and food were all fantastic. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks again to Arran for taking care of us and doing such a good job with your staff.
Amazing value, you have to pay for parking but it is refunded off your meal. The staff are really nice and helpful. I enjoyed my food a lot as did the family. I wasn't that impressed with the macaroni cheese (Don't get me wrong it was a personal thing about the taste), but everything else was amazing. Portion sizes are good. The place has loads of high chairs and an area for the children to play. An area for over 18s away from the family section, which is great. We will definitely be going back
We were welcomed by a wonderful open fire, which we chose to sit by. As always the menu is reliable and we had the fish and chips. This was cooked to perfection and totally delicious. We were served very quickly and spent £25.00 including drinks. Will definitely be back.
Went with my wife and three kids, we did have to wait a while for food but when it came it was really lovely. Only one waitress on but she couldn't have been nicer. Personally I think they could have benighted by having at least one other waitress as there were in excess of thirty people in the restaurant. Their is also a kiddy play area which was excellent for our youngest. Would definitely return and recommend.

Great food. Made to specification. Fantastic portion size for the price. Slightly annoying paying for parking now but you do get a partial return when you pay for your food. Only minor complaint is the staff don't know their own menu at times and you have to show them the daily offer from the menu.
Food used to be great but my last visit resulted in me being given a partial refund as the food hadn't been cooked properly; didn't ask for a raw burger. The waiting staff member, Laura, was brilliant and could not apologise enough. I just wanted to hug her as she made my experience better, all things considered
