Visiting Livingston to see my daughter and son-in-law and went for a meal after finding out that they were dog friendly. The service, food and staff were superb. Steven the GM is just so friendly. They raise money for guide dogs and we really recommend that you try this pub .
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. We ordered scampi and the battered fish. The food was very good and piping hot. Our server Chelsea couldn’t have been nicer or more efficient. The place was busy and the atmosphere very nice. We’ll definitely be back soon.
Your staff are always really polite and friendly and have a smile making me feel welcome at the chain runner.
The drinks are always delivered to my table minutes after I have ordered which I like.

This pub is practically my local because of the excellent atmosphere even although I live 3 miles away I have even been with my dog. I really like the chain runner.
I've been at the Livingston pub last night. It was a nice clean place, very friendly service. Reasonable prices. The food was fresh and nice plates especially the dessert blood orange brownie.
Toilet was clean .....

Escobar needed somewhere quiet but in close proximity to shops and restaurants. I need to have peace and quiet when resting but also need to have slap up meals and by lots of designer clothes.
This place fitted the bill perfectly.
Clean, comfy and reasonable. Decent shower. Comfy beds. Good soundproofing. Also an easy commute into Edinburgh. Massive safe car park by the way.
Good job I'm a successful business man as there is a huge designer outlet nearby £££ with many tempting wares.
We didn't eat here as we needed somewhere more discreet (the price to pay for being an international high-flying VIP) but the food smelt delicious.
The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. With everything else being of a very high standard, the highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. The staff were really lovely, attentive and very hospitable. I would recommend staying/eating/drinking here to anyone and will definitely be staying again!

Whilst arriving at the chainrunner we entered the reception area where we were greeted by a lovely lady. We said we have a room booked she checked the system & said she would check to see if the room was ready (as we arrived early). We said it was OK we would have a drink first). We sat at a table & we were told our room is ready. We were given our drinks. Bobby was so helpful we decided to have some food. We got menus & he was very attentive doing anything he could do to help. Great hotel, Definitely recommend to others. Food was lovely, couldn't fault it. Room was clean, comfy & quiet. Had good nights sleep. Definitely be back.
Lovely clean restaurant with great food and friendly staff. Great place for families to eat as they have a play area inside and out, not many places have this anymore, but there are other areas if you are looking for something more quiet. Food is amazing, always hot and no long waits. Amazing value for money and one of my favourite places to eat in Livingston!

Food was good, we had burgers which was a change and we both agreed they were really nice.

The staff make this place so good. We often go and it is due to the warm welcome you get every time. The food is also lovely, fresh and decent portions.
Plenty of parking and outside has seating as well. Inside was very clean and very welcoming. Air con and helpful and attentive staff the place looked well looked after.
All of the food was fine and prices were very sensible indeed. I was very happy and will be back again.
I visit usually once a week, service is good and food is lovely - wasn’t great when it 1st opened a few years ago, but been fabulous for about a year now. Breakfast is superb especially!
What a great find. I booked this as the hotel prices in Edinburgh were ramped up for Fringe. The staff were so friendly. The food was tasty and great value for money. I will definitely use again even when Edinburgh prices drop.
Couldn't have been a better place to meet up for breakfast. Had my dog with me and he was made very welcome by the lovely staff
