Been going for years & always go when over in Huddersfield, worth the drive. Friendly staff always clean & a good cuppa tea .
I always call in for their cake butties. As living in an area that's never heard of them . There are a real treat. Well worth trying.

Big fish shop, better opening hours than many others in the locality, easy to get to and has parking, fish and chips are good, cooked fresh when I've been in. If you want to eat in, there are some tables inside, but it's not really a 'restaurant'

Always nice fish and chips and friendly service,they are more expensive than the “little wooden hut” down the road. Having said that I would rather pay the extra as they are nicer then the cheaper rivals. Thank you golden fish staff
