The Gray Ox - Liversedge - Photo album

The food was amazing, we couldn't fault it, portion sizes were generous. I was hoping to try something from their dessert menu but no room, after a starter of scallops and a main of beef cheek. Compliments to the chef !! The furniture though is tired which was the only thing that let our visit down.
Fantastic portions and great quality food! Grey Ox Inn is a very cosy and hidden away Pub/Restaurant. The atmosphere here was calm, relaxed (Tue evening) and felt very welcoming. There is a great Ox head mounted in the entrance and the decor is country style with exposed beams and tweed furnishings
Food, Atmosphere and Service all excellent. With Amazing value thrown in. Thoroughly recommended.
Lovely evening spent with the family. We tried a range of items from the menu. The burger was beautiful, the steak a decent size, the scallops were beautiful. I went for the small size haddock and I am glad I did it was huge! Atmosphere was good apart from a slightly rowdy group on the next table.
We had a beautiful meal last night at the Gray Ox. The food and staff were exceptional 10/10. Wonderfully warm, cosy welcoming restaurant and bar. We went at 6pm for an early meal. It was really quite busy upon arrival and throughout the entire time we were there. Wonderful atmosphere from the momen
The staff were excellent. The service was spot on..The sea bass was lovely. The only negative was the fish in batter. The fish was lovely and fresh but the batter let it down. Very heavy and doughy . Fish batter should be leight and crispy.
Excellent Sunday dinner service today. Staff really friendly and the food was excellent. The dining area is split into different areas so you can find somewhere to suit your mood. Booking was easily done by the website with a follow up confirmation email soon after. Definitely worth visiting, excell
Fantastic location, excellent service and food. Very generous portions. Will definitely return.
We called in today and had a meal which was lovely. The only problem was when got the bill they had charged us £16 for the burgers when they were £15 on the menu and there was service charge, I didn't see this displayed on the menu. I Don't think we will be calling again.
Visited at lunchtime, using a groupon voucher bought for us as a Christmas gift. There was a good choice of food and we were very pleased with our choices. My only criticism would be, despite a warm welcome on a particularly cold day, the building certainly wasn't.
A cosy, friendly pub, charming landlord and a decent Sunday roast.
We booked for Sunday dinner, lovely inside. Attentive staff, and the food was really good, good size portion too. Definitely be returning
Visited on a Saturday lunchtime. Boots and dogs welcome. We just had a pot of tea and a starter each. All good, with friendly service and an open fire!
Superb...excellent choice of drinks and food menu. Delightful environment with food cooked to perfection. Service equally as good. A must place to visit for quality
