I cannot find sufficient superlatives to describe just how much we enjoyed our wedding reception here on 2nd June. Matthew and the staff were efficient, welcoming and gracious. It has been commented by several of our guests that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The room looked exceptional, the food was just right, in fact we could not possibly have had a better day. Everyone who stayed at the hotel was most complimentary about the rooms and the service. I would give you ten stars if I could.
We had the 6 course taster menu last night and everything about it was delicious. Cannot recommend this place highly enough for it's food and lovely welcoming staff.
I celebrated my wedding yesterday at healds hall and I'm bowled over by it all. From start to finish the service we have received has been second to none. The staff are friendly, professional and nothing is too much trouble. So many guests have complimented on the amazing food and the excellent staff particularly max and ronan. Such a lovely place. The food is such high standard with a great wine and drink menu to match. Everyone is so welcoming and so pleasant. Even down to the receptionist who made a point of standing up to say hi as you walk past. Have to say Max is amazing, has been for years! Thanks to him and his brilliant service my mum has now booked her wedding and I can't wait for it! Thank you so much! X
Amazing quality of food as always. They offer traditional food with a contemporary twist at reasonable prices complemented with a great wine list. Very good service as well. Can't wait for our next visit.
Having celebrated my own wedding here last September, it was so brilliant my daughter decided to book hers here too. She had the absolute perfect day yesterday and I can not say a big enough thank you to all the staff involved - they are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend anyone to book your wedding - or any other function - here as you will not get anything better anywhere else!
I was a guest at a wedding yesterday, plus I delivered and set up the wedding cake. All staff members were brilliantly professional and very helpful. The wedding itself was fabulous, the food was all excellent. Can not recommend it enough!! Thank you for making my friends wedding as amazing as it was.
Friendly staff, nice rooms with recently refurbished bathrooms and a dinner plate shower and a great fresh cooked breakfast with home-made black pudding!
We go there quite a bit and have never been disappointed. The food is very good, the menu varies and there is always lots of choice. The staff are very friendly, courteous, efficient and look after you well. I can't fault it.
Just had our wedding here a few weeks ago! Absolutely fantastic day, which ran smoothly due to the organised and calm staff. Food was also amazing!! Family came from all over the world and loved the venue. Highly recommended
Invited to a birthday meal yesterday. The food was as always, amazing. As good if not better than any 'leeds' Restaurant. Taste and presentation excellent. Will be returning soon.

Had Dinner with my Mum on Saturday 15th October. Lovely welcoming Staff, beautiful decor & the Food was Superb. The staff make you feel so comfortable & relaxed. I shall recommend this Restaurant to anyone. It was a pleasure to be there for my first visit.

Healds Hall really was the perfect place for our wedding and it didn’t disappoint. From our very first meeting Matt and the team did everything they could do help and make the day be as perfect as it was.
The team did everything they could throughout the day to help and took away all pressures, making sure we were happy with everything before the guests entered each room. Thanks so much to Shirley who made our vision come to life! The food was amazing and all of the guests were so happy with the food on offer – beef dinner was perfect! The turnaround between the breakfast and evening was extremely smooth ready for the evening party to start!
All the guests commented on how friendly the staff were and how well run it was – we would highly recommend Healds Hall for anyone that is looking for the wedding of their dreams. The grounds, venue, decor, and staff all made it to be the perfect day and we can’t thank everyone enough for what they did.

This is a well run hotel that also provides excellent dining for non residents. The dining area has recently been refurbished and the staff are pleasant and responsive. I recently enjoyed with friends an excellent Sunday roast lunch. My friends chose the roast lamb and I selected the Vegetarian nut roast. Gravy, a range of freshly cooked vegetables and the mandatory Yorkshire Pudding ensured we were very satisfied with our selection.
Visited for a wedding and stayed overnight. Lovely hotel with very clean rooms at a great price. Great breakfast made with quality ingredients. Lovely g building in nice grounds. Plenty of parking
Booked this place for the New Year's Eve Party. One of the party is gluten and dairy free so the meal had to be adapted which they did fantastically well. The rooms were fine. All the food was spot on and the room and DJ were great. We are already going to go next year.

Very comfortable bed, shower needs an upgrade. Fresh water every day, nice biscuits!
Superb restaurant, and lovely friendly staff. The food really was excellent.
Rooms at the front can be noisy around 11pm-1am, though it may just be during Christmas party season as revellers leave and wait outside for taxis and lifts home.
Lots of parking.
If getting there using your satnav, it's on Leeds Rd. If your satnav tries to take you into a housing estate, ignore it, head for Leeds Rd.
5 stars could give more. One night stay rooms are small but comfortable and most important clean. Within the room, everything you need for a one night stay including free biscuits and a free bottle of water.
Evening meal out of this world they have a fantastic chef, had beef so tender.
Breakfast full English cooked fresh to order. Will definitely stay again.

I had my husbands wake here, the buffet lunch was excellent and the staff were beautifully presented, courteous and very helpful. It's also a place where we hold our works do.... Spot on. I highly recommend it and the lunches are very tasty in the, perfect for a celebratory meal.
My partner and I have booked Healds Hall for our wedding. We are also booked in for a meal in a few weeks. Highly recommend as we've ate here before and it is excellent

Beautiful hotel, elegantly furnished. Good-sized room with plenty of storage space. It was spotlessly clean with excellent provisions, including bottled water and biscuits. The bed was very comfortable. Shower over bath with shower curtain. Decent toilet paper! Our only complaint was that the room was too hot so we turned the radiator off for most of our weekend in February stay. The ceiling fan was useful. Breakfast was delicious, well-presented with a good selection of options. Evening meals were a bit pricey but absolutely delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were there for a 90th birthday party which was a complete success. The buffet was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the waiters and the bar staff. We truly appreciated their care and attention to detail and would highly recommend this venue/hotel for any event/holiday.
