One of the nicest bars I've been in😍
There is no expense spared in the architecture. All the detail and quality of the bar design is amazing.
The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable.
The food was exceptional! I didn't get a main, I decided to get the pork belly starter with side of truffle mash potato. It was gorgeous and a decent sized portion. The rest of the group were also very pleased with their meals.
We went for lunch and drinks in the day but we found out they had a caberat night. So we returned in the evening. Pleasant crowd in there.
Would definitely go again when I'm back in Liverpool.
A genuinely lovely setting. The skylight floods the room with light. Relaxed atmosphere at lunchtime. Stupendous selection of beers and schnapps (if you want to risk it). Friendly, attentive and engaging staff - can’t do enough for you. Cracking food at reasonable prices. Go once for lunch. Go back in the evening for the atmosphere and cabaret.
Super cool German themed restaurant/ bar in the heart of Liverpool. The food is delicious and they have a wide range of beers on draft. It is worth checking out the ladies toilet, one of which has a disco inside the stall.. super cool!!
Albert Schloss in Bold St., opposite Central Station… hosted 48 company staff on a night out, we had an exceptional evening in the hands of ‘Team’ Albert Schloss. No detail was missed… courtesy, attentive, helpful, executed like a Swiss watch, organised with no room for error, table cards with everyone’s orders, outstanding entertainment and well, awesome food, just hit the sweet spot with everyone. I have received so many compliments on choice of venue. We will certainly put this responsibility in their capable hands again! Thank you ‘Team’ Albert Schloss, you were amazing!!!!
Fab first time in the bar restaurant/ quick bites/ beers wines cocktails and stage for entertainment in the evenings.
What a place
Staff lovely, friendly, welcoming and informative.
Recommendation for the Sunday lunch was spot on.
Fabulous fresh salmon with 3 small warm bread rolls and mixed salad side was divine and nice portion size. The highly recommended Pork and crackling was wow.. huge portion of meat ..like seriously it filled the plate cooked to perfection. Roasted garlic and rosemary potatoes just yummy.. Broccoli, shredded cabbage and peas as sides with a mash of carrot and swede,( I think,) on the plate. The gravy with an extra portion when requested was simply lovely and flavoursome. My chicken was juicy and the stuffing lovely.. What about the enormous Yorkshire Puddings .. Oooh err.. crispy crunchy and just how I love my yorkies! The dishes were given piping hot and served within a respectful time. Attentive staff. Fantastic pricing too thats not going to break the bank.
Great decor, funky quirky bits to suprise you.. even the disco music and lighting toilet for two made folk smile
Would I go back? ..heck yes and recommend to family and friends
1st time we have ever eaten here & we weren't disappointed, the waiter was very knowledgeable & helped us with our choices. Great atmosphere & I noticed the background music was actually Northern Soul which was a bonus. The tapas dishes were incredibly tasty & good value for money, I had a scrummy pineapple rum with pineapple vodka cocktail which was sublime. Definitely worth a visit 💗
Service and mains were amazing.
We were a bit disappointed with the deserts. A blackforest gateau should not just be a brownie with cream and a single cherry on top, and there wasn't a hint of kirsch.🤔 Baked Alaska looked amazing, but the meringue was extremely sweet and not crisp.
Apfelstrudel and the ice creams were fine.
Staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂
We also felt that the music on a Sunday evening was too loud. We had to shout in our conversations.
But a nicely decorated place with nice beer 🍺 👌
Great place. Large open space with upstairs balcony seating as well as seating on the ground floor. Super atmosphere. Live music 🎵. We just stayed for one drink.
Lovely quirky feel. It's definitely different to wherever I've been. Beautiful interior and make sure ladies you checkout the bathroom... There's a photo booth which is only £1 and you get two copies. Cocktails are £10 onwards which is pretty decent and normal nowadays for cocktails. I personally recommend the cocktail with black cherry. The live entertainment/Burlesque feel is incredible. Definitely want to come back again and again. Not tried the food yet but I hear its good!
Went here last Sunday for breakfast. We took the dog with us as it’s dog friendly and the dog got the real VIP treatment. He got his own little bag of treats too as well as cuddles from nearly every member of staff
The food is always so good here.
We had the alberts breakfast & kroissant royle which were both so tasty. I’d 100% recommend getting some pastries too as they are baked fresh in house every day and are exceptionally Devine.
Also very family friendly in the day time they also have a little kids me.

Welcome to Albert's Schloss, another fresh clean and big bar, they have a stage so at some point there will be bands on this bar on bold street, once again come try it out 👍🏻
Recently paid a visit with 7 friends and had a really good night, food was delicious and there is a wide range of drinks on offer. The service was outstanding and the entertainment was brilliant too. Would definitely recommend going if you’re looking for a great night out.
Nice place with a high finish in a busy area of the city.
The prices for the drinks are reasonable. If there's a live act on they add an extra 50p on per drink however. But I guess if the acts are good then it'll be worth it.
I have been 3 times in 2 weeks . Love it, and love the strawberry beer . The disco toilet is my favorite part .
Definitely worth going if you want a nice venue for drinks and good time .
Nice place with quite good interior design. Good selection of beers, but a bit pricey. But well worth a visit if you are nearby.
Popped in as first time visitors and loved this place! Very funny 'gravy lady' visited our table and asked us to press the 'push for gravy' button, which we did. Sal, the assistant manager then appeared and chatted to us and then sent over a complimentary bottle of prosecco! Lovely atmosphere, fabulous environment, wonderful service, hilarious disco booth in the ladies - we highly recommend this place for a fun afternoon.
Been to the one in Birmingham and this matches in every way!
The place is packed and for a good reason. The atmospheres top tier, lively crowds, a wide range of drinks available, can’t ask for more!
First time at Albert's Schloss today but certainly not the last . . . (Update at end)
We (the lad and I) booked a table via their website for 12.15 for an end-of-year lunch.
We were seated at midday by the lovely Ross (top guy - first class in every aspect 👍🏼)
I love the decor - the Alpine look and feel of the place. Chunky wooden benches, amazing look of the bar set up, the lighting, the toilets(important!) and the general vibe of the place. It's all good folks!
Whilst we were looking at the extensive menu, Ross suggested we try a pretzel with cream cheese and some pickles. Err . . . deliciously fresh, warm and oh so good! 👌🏼
Two pints of Goldebrau and we'd decided to have . . .
Me . . .The Schweinshaxe - Pork Knuckle in a rich gravy with red cabbage and I had this with a serving of Sformato - a gorgeously rich mashed potato.
The Lad . . . Ordered The Baron Burger - fully locked and loaded and Truffle Cheese Parmesan Fries.
The knuckle was huuuge! The crispy crackling was just Oooer! The pork was juicy and tasty. With the mash and gravy, I was in big knuckle heaven.
The boy was more than happy with the burger! Big and juicy loaded with bacon and sauerkraut between two tasty buns. what's not to like? The fries were good to go too!
Two more Goldenbrau's and along came a Baked Alaska! (for two to share) Ross promptly pulled a mini blow torch out and started heating the Grand Marnier in a little copper pan then lit it on fire before our very eyes! Over the meringue, it went 🔥🔥🔥
As the meringue was caramelising he asked us to please let the fire burn out before eating it! Absolutely! 🚒 How did it taste?
Meringue-tastic! The meringue the rich vanilla ice cream the hint of lemon and berry jus and the Grand Marnier blew our Lederhosen off! One of the best baked Alaska's I've ever had! 👌🏼
Ross was ever attentive throughout and not annoyingly so! There was a live band playing jazz-style versions of 80's songs. Blondie's Heart of Glass was a particularly brilliant version.
I couldn't knock anything about our experience today and the lad agrees wholeheartedly.
11 out of 10
On our way out we noticed a photo booth so we popped in for three pics for a quid!
Thank you Albert's Schloss and Ross for a cracking end-of-year lunch 🙏🏼👌🏼
Update 3/8/23 . . . Popped in around 2pm today. Got the fondue with bread, potatoes, pickles, bratwurst and chicken wings to dip. Just WOW! Looked after by the lovely Skye and Ross 🙏🏼👌🏽💯
Burger was nothing special I got the Barton Burger and thought it was quite overpriced for what it was however The Schweinshaxe (roasted pork) was delicious and worth the money however this could have come with some mash or veg. Mash is £7.50 extra which is a bit ridiculous.
