This is a gem of a spot in Liverpool! The tapas are spot in and the choices plentiful. My friend and I had the Madri beer from Madrid for the first time and we fell in love immediately. We also shared a pitcher of red sangria that was quite enjoyable. Our eyes were much bigger than our stomachs proved to be but that does not mean that we left unsatisfied! The staff are great and their fare is also great. You will not be disappointed with a visit here.
First visit here and will return. Lively atmosphere with great tapas. Not necessarily authenticically Spanish but tasty and good portion sizes. We had 4 to share and chose 1 each for ourselves. Good range of veggie options. Had a carafe of sangria and it was stronger than we expected! Dined as a couple but I would certainly bring friends here.
Two of us came as walk ins and got a table and so glad we came. We’ve had tapas on 3 occasions recently and this was by far the best! We got 6 dishes: garlic bread and cheese, fillet steak, S&P chicken pancakes, bbq ribs, chorizo sausages & patatas bravas. Some dishes small & some loaded so all in all, 6 was enough for us. Food was absolutely fabulous and so was the service by all who served us especially Grace. We will definitely be returning! You won’t be disappointed eating here!
Wow is all that I can say. The quality in the taste of these tapas as well as the serving size were amazing.
Each of these dishes were exquisite in their own ways, but allowed opportunities for cross over that just took it to another level.
We went on a week day about 45 minutes after open and they were able to squeeze us in, but a booking will be the BEST way to ensure you get to sample these amazing tapas.
First time here. Food was top notch. No wait for a table and the food was brought out quickly. Staff all friendly and the service great. Will be going back again
Love the Tapas experience and few will do it better than So Salsa! The atmosphere, the music, everything authentic and ‘jumpin’. The food is awesome, fabulous selection, everything seasoned right, and plated properly. Paul, our attendant /server was super courteous and helpful with menu choices - note.. the larger size paella will fit for more than 2 so stick with the smaller size and order more tapas /sides. Sangria was spot on. Overall, value, price, exceptional. Make this your ‘restaurante’ for Spanish in Liverpool.
Really nice. Food is great and servers are friendly. The feta stuffed peppers I would definitely recommend
Absolutely amazing place! Me and my partner visited Liverpool for 2 nights and we gave this place a try on our last night and we loved it! The staff were all really nice and helpful. The menu isn’t massive but everything on it sounds so nice that it was hard to not order one of everything! 6 plates was the perfect amount for 2 people. I would highly recommend the halloumi sticks!!! The best halloumi I have ever tasted! I would also love to know where they get their olives as they were very nice as well!
Nice tapas food, we ordered 2/3 each, and they were enough - patatas bravas are quite filling for example (and also quite tasty). Nice space inside and tables outside makes it good for gatherings with colleagues or friends. The croquettes were my favourites.
One of the best tapas in town. Food was tasty & cooked to perfection. Service was attentive & friendly. Love listening to the 80's music. Well recommended.
Went for a Christmas meal with with work friends. The staff weres spot on, very knowledgeable on the dishes when asked. Food was amazing with no complaints on size or presentation. Will be back again when we're back in the office.
Went on a Tuesday night and it was busy with good atmosphere. Tables available but appeared to be very popular.
Lovely food, firecracker cauliflower was gorgeous be prepared as it has a kick!
Definitely go again, reasonably priced.
Visited early evening as a big (14 I think) group, no booking. We were all seated quickly across two tables, though the tables were far apart.
Food was good and in generous portions for tapas. All were brought to the table when ready so fresh and hot, which of course means some people get everything at the beginning and some are waiting a long time, but at least you know everything is fresh.
The loaded fries were unusual, with big chunks of beef and pieces of batter in a peppery gravy on top, but they were very tasty.
