We've visited the GPO food market three times now and every visit has been excellent.
Staff and food hall vendors are always friendly and the food is always top notch.
The bar has an extensive range of beers and spirits and the vibe is always chilled out and friendly.
We've always visited after the Met Quarter shops have closed and have managed to get a seat/table each time.
We tried 3 of the vendors and loved them all!
GPO has a relaxed atmosphere and ordering to the table was made easy using the QR codes! So much variety from the kitchens including including halal, vegetarian and vegan options!
We ate from Hajime Sushi, I loved the prawn tempura roll. It was delicious and so crispy. Even the meal deal thing we got was a good deal. I’m excited to go back to try other sushi’s 🥰
First time visiting and had a great experience. Really enjoyed are time in the food hall. I just want to say the lady who was Greek went above and beyond for us.
Just want to shout out and say how much I appreciate the kindness she shown.
Tried this market for the first time. Love the atmosphere. The food was good but the prices are a bit high especially for the corn dogs we had. £7 for 2 corn dogs came with ketchup and mustard. Thought it would have something special inside. One downside is that the service was quite slow. We waited for ONE drink for 30 mins. At the end got our food and drink because they got the table number wrong.
Great spot in Liverpool with plenty of choice which is great for groups.
The service was very slow for a quiet Saturday afternoon with us having to wait excessively for everything.
The drinks took about 20 minutes.
Jailbird took about 25 minutes but the chicken wings were fantastic when they arrived.
Love Kimchi was over 50 minutes wait which I asked at least twice how much longer it would be. The Korean fried chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had but far too long a wait without warning.
Little pricey compared to others in that area, but something different and worth a visit.

Just looked on Google maps for food on a Sunday around 6pm not many places open, fancy Greek food soo.. food was served quite quickly it looked beautiful and tasted fantastic.
I would definitely recommend this place for a bite to eat.
Visited with friends the other night -wow what a great place! The food was fabulous so much better than we would have expected from a food hall - definitely restaurant quality, but because it’s a food hall the variety was awesome and you could mix and match. Loved everything we tried and topped off by a truly awesome dessert -thanks we will be back for sure!
Came with a group on friends on a Saturday night. It's wasnt too busy. We all enjoyed the food and it was good value. The app didn't seem to be working which was a faff. Gave up with it in the end. A very random mixture of music being played. Would go again.
Where do I start?! The food here is incredible - as you can see from the pictures we couldn't just choose one vendor and it was all 5 star quality! Washed down beautifully with an espresso martini from Monkeyboard coffee. The staff were also great, very attentive and they couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend!
18/01/23: our first time here. Dog friendly. Quick, good service at the bar and plenty of choice? Very quiet at lunchtime on a Wednesday (today). Booths, high tables and normal tables to choose from. We had Beavertown Neckoil and Salt Brewery Jute IPA.
We had a fantastic evening in GPO! We tried 4 of the vendors and everything was perfect . The IBe app was easy to use and food and drinks came out quickly.
The food hall is ideal for groups, families and couples alike.
There's plenty of choice and pricing is very reasonable.
Would definitely recommend visiting , make sure you're hungry so you can try all the vendors !

We had never been to Liverpool before and were struggling to find somewhere to eat so came here as there were a variety of options.
My girlfriend had loaded fries from Little Kimchi but I ordered from Tang which was a new restaurant here.
It was amazing as I got to make my own meal with any ingredients I wanted so I got to try new things such as lotus root and enochi mushrooms.
The chef then cooked it all together with the flavourings of my choice and brought it over.
It tasted amazing but I put in way too many noodles!
But overall a great place to try some new traditional Chinese food or to revisit to personalise the dish
Fabulous new food hall and bar in Liverpool city centre. Hidden gem upstairs in the Met quarter. Family friendly, stylish, contemporary venue with amazing choice of food and drinks. Eat in or take away. There is definitely something for everyone. We have eaten here a number of times trying the different vendors. All superb! One of our party is coeliac and there was a great choice of gluten free options. Definitely worth a visit. Make sure you leave enough room for the dessert bar ICE… the sharing platter is delicious.
