Visiting Liverpool searching for a place for lunch. Needed a place that opened before noon. Haphazardly walking past Express decided to give a try. What a wonderful group of ladies making sandwiches. And our sandwiches were delicious! Family owned! Love it!

Absolutely delicious sandwiches & reasonably priced. The chicken tikka with cheese & mango chutney is a highlight. Staff are super friendly too. Will definitely be back.

I've been back working in City centre now and can't believe I've only just discovered this little gem of a place today, hidden behind the scaffolding of India Building by far the best jacket potato and salad I've had in god knows how long.
The girls were so friendly and although my first time in their felt like I had been a regular for years.
Unlike some of the others bigger establishments around this end of town where its an effort to serve you, well done ladies

Delicious and fresh sandwiches but the soup is a bit salty, could do with reducing the salt. But the other food is all great and service is very friendly

Been coming here on a weekly basis for 8 months now, staff are always friendly and the food is excellent, with generous portions.
Highly recommend the Steak Baguette and jacket potatoes!

Meat wonders are tops. In the morning bacon sausage and egg baguettes are powerful. All down to Greggs eggs - say no more
