Purchased a chocolate button cake last week, didn't disappoint. Cake was so fresh and tasted exactly the same as it did when I was younger.
Lovely baked goods, excellent bread and friendly service. I've never had a bad experience here. Their potato cakes (Friday and Saturday only I think) are to die for!
I grew up in the area but moved away, we went back the other day and was pleased to find this place still going and the pies taste exactly as I remember- wonderful.
I go to Satterthwaites quite often...Pies etc are fabulous..Service is great & staff are lovely.
