Lovely little pub, full of friendly locals. Landlord is very helpful. Rooms were spotless, and we were very close to our venue for the night. A good night's sleep was had by all of us. The Clifton Arms has the most welcoming drinkers in any pub I've ever been in. Top blokes and ladies that did Liverpool proud. Me and Barney will definitely stay there when we next do an event in Liverpool. Thanks to Tony, Toni, Luke, Jamie Alice and everyone else that made us feel at home. Cheers

Always a great welcome. Family run pub full of locals. Make sure you have cash as they don't take cards.
Just moved into the area and this is the best bar I could find. They now have a B&B for visitors at cheap rates... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ friendly staff and the locals are a good laugh.
