The White Star - Liverpool - Photo album

As good as it gets, real Liverpool pub that hasn't changed in decades. Just the most welcoming, generous people (particularly the guy who came and found us when he saw we were looking for a seat to tell us there was one near him.
Worra spanking looking old pub! 🍻 Stopped here on our way to our hotel. Obviously its 'White Star' connections are fascinating and dotted all around the wall in frames photos. Faaaaar too many to take pics of, so feel free to look around as I did. Titanic is in here but it's really not a huge focus
Good traditional pub. Even though City Centre has a good "local pub" feel. Good well kept cask ales (3) . Lot of pictures on walls refarding White Star Line. If around Matthew Street and want a quieter pint this good place to try.
A pub with character and history. Also a very nice atmosphere amongst the patrons. Mostly locals the afternoon I visited and really friendly. I only gave a one star rating for food because they don’t serve any! No problem with that in my opinion. The real ale is very well kept. The best I have had f
Fabulous, traditional back street pub. Full of character and a very rich history from The Beatles to Titanic. Obviously the compilation Beatles soundtrack enhanced the experience and it wasn't too loud to drown out conversation. Only slight negative is the gents' loo which is ready for an upgrade (h
First visit, after many years of visiting the Clove Hitch. The atmosphere, the beers, the character of the pub and the service, push this up to being my favourite Liverpool pub against some very stiff competition. I'll be making this a regular venue, and recommending to everyone.
Great old Liverpool pub great atmosphere lovely friendly staff, a must if visiting Liverpool the pub also has strong connection with the Beatles.
Great atmosphere.. so popular, many of the beers had sold out..
5 stars for the pub. Location and decor but the wine tasted like they had got it off the Titanic!
Absolute gem of a Liverpool City centre pub . Very nice range of real ales on tap to choose from . Friendly service and nice mix of background music to make you want to sit back and stay a little longer than you originally planned.
