This is another old Tetley pub that I used to frequent many years ago. We used to go here before and after we went to the cinema as there used to be three cinemas along Lime street, the Futurist, the Scala and the Forum, but they have all been demolished now. They still have cinema posters on the wall from that era. This pub has not changed a one iota over the last fifty years, it doesn't need to. It's always been service with a smile and a pint on the bar at a very reasonable price.

Beautiful old pub with a lot of character, lots of old photos of celebrities on the walls. Plenty of choice on drinks, I highly recommend a visit

We have been there more than once. Good atmosphere and honoust, friendly staff. Location spot on. Food is oke. They gave us a list of nightclubs where to go. We had a good night out later and next day they helped us where to buy new belts and shoelaces.

Been going here on and off since moving to Liverpool from Newcastle upon Tyne 30yrs ago. Nice pint, friendly staff. When I get visitors I always take them there. Try naming all the film stars who adorn the walls, there is one you will not be able to name. Ask the staff for the answer. Singers, karaoke etc on a weekend. Great pub.

Cannot recommend this iconic Liverpool Irish pub enough . It’s been. While since I’ve been here but it has lost none of its charm and the best Liverpool punters give you the best of a welcome no matter where you are from. I had a few pints of lovely pints of creamy Guinness after drinking pints of lager and cider over the weekend in different places ! By the way I did try Guinness in a few pubs but honestly couldn’t drink them so I headed to the place I remember from a couple of years ago and I wasn’t disappointed. Leanne and Sarah were the most perfect hosts and if you are the owner watch out as these two will be snapped up . Thanks so much to you both you are absolute legends!!! And most importantly for me the best pint of Guinness in Liverpool as long as these two lovely ladies are serving them!!!

Better thank your average local Liverpool pub. And if you take price into account, 5 stars. Only 4 cause a bit small/narrow.

Lovely, traditional Scouse pub, close to both Lime Street and Central Stations. Good quality ales and alcohol free alternatives. Joanne is a charming bar-maid, extremely friendly and efficient but the impression is that no nonsense will be tolerated. There's a covered area out the back for those who smoke.

One of my favourite bars to drink in. The service is always excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. They have some great karaoke on, and Ellen is excellent when she is on. We'll worth a visit.

Went to meet an old friend there, lovly old pub, very friendly, but don't mix it up with the other Beehive on paradise St, which is, also a lovly old pub too. I did many years, ago and waited for a friend we were both in different beehive, no not the hairstyle.. Ha ha.
