Nikki has really made my evening. She's been super attentive, helpful and with a good sense of humour. She made sure everything was okay and we enjoyed her company.
The Chinese chef in the carvery section was also very nice as well.
Food is great, particularly the roast beef. Also had a honeycomb sundae pudding which ended the meal on a good note.

Came for a carvery on a Saturday evening. It's a nice pub and the choice of 5 meats was a pleasant surprise. But the highlight was our server, Carol, who was very pleasant and helpful. Also, Andy on the carving station caught a fork mid-fall which was VERY impressive and gathered a round of applause from the queue.
Plenty of good car parking spaces were available when my friend and myself went on Sunday afternoon. Staff first class and food well presented and well cooked. Atmosphere was just right. A really positive experience and will happily visit this establishment again in the future.
We had an outstanding carvery that wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for the wonderful customer service of Carol who went out of her way to look after us after a little mishap with online bookings. She was both attentive and caring towards us and is credit to you and has really made our evening and we can’t wait for our next visit
Love the carvery but disappointed as been looking forward to having lamb and they had run out and said it would be another 4 hours. Otherwise everything else was great. My son had booked for a table at 6 but we weren't able to sit down till 6.30 . Very busy, staff were friendly and polite.
We enjoyed our meal. Restaurant was very nice and friendly staff members. This was a valentines day meal and we both enjoyed our experience.
From entering the Restaurant we didn't have to wait long to be served & seated. Meal was very well cooked and drinks came very quickly
Me, my son, partner & sister came here for our tea and was served by a lovely lady called Nikki, she was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, she had us in stitches with her brilliant personality. If only everyone would be like her she is fabulous!!
We love coming to this Carvery as it never fails to disappoint! The food is always spot on every time and always happy when we leave. The staff are all very nice happy people. We don’t live close to here but always happy to travel as most carvery’s are always hit and miss but Aigburth branch is always spot on every time and has the best service and staff!! Thank you! X

Carvery - excellent choice (of meats, vegetables and accompaniments). Only thing this time was that the spoons on some of the vegetables were too hot to handle

On the run-up to Christmas, you can expect this place to be busy! However, the staff here have managed to remain pleasant and attentive.
As the place is busy, the food is extremely fresh as it's constantly moving.
I would note if you do come during this run-up to Christmas, make sure you have layers of clothes you can take off easily. The place is roasting! Haha a good thing to be sure.

We visited to try the traditional Sundays Roast, Everything was fabulous except the Gamon, which was too salty. The Toby's gravy was really tasty. The amount off the regular size plate is enough, but you can enlarge your portion for a couple of pounds.
Excellent service, looks lovely since the refurb.

I went there for Christmas dinner today with my girlfriend and it’s my first time going out for Christmas dinner and not at home so I didn’t know what it would be like. Can honestly say the food was absolutely wonderful, the carvery was different from usual and was much nicer, only thing letting the food down very slightly was the veg soup starter was slightly unusual and the mash potato was slightly colder then everything else there but honestly, everything else was brilliant. The deserts were very nice as well but couldn’t finish it all because I ate too much. Service was excellent, food come out to us exactly when we wanted it without asking, and the drinks weren’t any more expensive than usual which is always a bonus on Christmas, the atmosphere was great but long queues for the carvery (we were first up so didn’t apply to us), and a blatant unhappy woman who complains for fun was near us but we just found it funny laughing at her. Bit on the expensive side but great food, great service, couldn’t have asked for any more.
1st time I have been to this restaurant and I can’t wait to go back! The food was beautiful and the caver who served us was so nice when I requested some of the fatty bits off the meat (I love fatty meats lol) he made sure I would have on plate what I would enjoy big thank you to Andy and our server was Wendy and she also went above and beyond to make us enjoy our evening…thank you for a lovely evening and I would definitely recommend this restaurant! Well done to all the team 👍🏽
I went to this carvery between Christmas and New Year. Granted, you cannot expect a normal service during that time. I can say that the meat, and I had a piece of all four meats on offer, was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked but the veg had been under the light a long time and had little or no moisture. The service was excellent and the chef was hilarious as he served us whilst carving the meat. We were two adults and two children and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
Booked on line, got a table for 2 the service was great, staff are very friendly and there were plenty of them to assist you, they will come over to you to order your drink and they will also ask if anyone has allergies which in my book is great which some places of food don't ask, then after that you will be told to go and get your food from the carvery which is great with a variety of meats and veg and then just on the other side of the servery is the sources and by the time you get back your drinks are waiting for you. All in all great food and great service for me 5* but that's just my opinion try for yourself and enjoy 👍🏻
We were looked after by a waitress called Nicki who was a lovely lady. She interacted well with all her customers and had really good friendly banter. She was relaxed and confident.
