Such a shame food was good but let down badly by service. Booked online and received an email confirming reservation. When we arrived they didnt know we were coming. Had to move tables just before food arrived. Had to ask to order. For anyone with food alergies dont bother. They do not cater for even basic gluten free or celiac needs, waitress response was a very easy no. Half way through meal asked for two more cokes and a lemonade. Had to ask three times and even pointed to glasses. Received one pint of lager???? This is what happens when you add on a compulsory service charge, staff are going to get tip regardless if they provide a good service or not. Very sad for a place with so much potential.

Incredible lovely ladies who helped me throughout my time, but of course, I was extremely starving plus super happy with Korean food served, including Soju, which is South Koreas Traditional National Alcohol 😋

It is a restaurant with quite a good selection of Korean food. Mine was delicious, I had the luch special menu and a green tea cup. The chairs were a little worn.

Absolutely authentic - the lack of service is made up by the quality of the food. The kimchi fried rice was top tier, and the BBQ meats were lightly seasoned to bring out the natural taste of these meats. The price is justified by location and quality - would definitely recommend!

Great ambience. When we entered, it was empty. But within minutes the place had a vibe. The food was delicious. We tried their spicy soup which was the start dish in appetisers. The seafood crepe and chicken dumplings were just delicious. We went for 3 mains after all these appetisers, and their portions were huge. Not a big fan of their kimchi rice though- very bland for my palate. Language barrier can be a slight issue, but they try their best with their service.

Really interesting menu. We didn’t really know what or how things worked. This didn’t affect us having two delicious dishes. Really enjoyed the food. Can’t wait for the next time. Amazing value and variety for money.

speaking as someone who used to live in Korea, the food here is pretty good. Nice and authentic. The problem is with the staff...they didn't seem to understand their menu or even be able to read it. The waiter also served my food at the opposite end of the table (I was alone on a four-seater) which was weird. if you want to try authentic korean food then its worth it but the staff weren't up to much..

We went here for our anniversary, we've never been to a Korean BBQ place before. I have to say this might've been one of the best meals of my life, seriously. I'd highly recommend the ribs, teriyaki chicken and the meat platter that you cook yourself at the table. The staff were friendly, the prices are a little high but you pay the extra for GOOD FOOD, it's worth every penny. Would love to go back, those BBQ ribs are calling my name.

I’m going to review the features within this restaurant and then give my final review. Starting with: Customer Service: The customer service within this restaurant was good. The members of staff were nice, friendly and eager to provide assistance / services when called to. The member of staff who served us did so with a smile – which is always appreciated and helps create a sense of ease and welcome. Food / Menu: The menu has a wide range of options to pick and choose from and also caters for vegetarians (for those who may be wondering). Atmosphere/Look: I really enjoyed the consistent aesthetic present within this restaurant. The lights and lighting, the tree, candles and overall layout of the restaurant is quite pleasant to look at and makes for great photos. The atmosphere inside is calm and relaxing, but the best part of it all is the music. I found myself wanting to know what soundtracks they were playing as the selection was really good and contributed towards the overall vibe of the restaurant. Queues: I visited this restaurant late afternoon and I didn’t have to deal with any queues or lag in customer service. It’s good to see that the members of staff were able to provide extra-attention to their present customer as a result of this. Hygiene: The restaurant was kept clean, tidy and in god shape. There was nothing bad to pick on or point out. The same goes for the food, plates and cutlery – it was all good. Summary: I really enjoyed my time in this restaurant. The music, customer service and diverse plate menus are more than enough reasons for me to recommend Ban Di Bul to anyone interested or wondering if they should try it out.

The atmosphere was calm and friendly. The hotpot was placed on a gas ring in middle of the table with a chimney above to extract the steam. The noodles, mushrooms, meat and tofu cooked within the hotpot as we ate it. It was our first time and will return.

Never really eaten Korean before. The menu was a mine field didn't recognise much, the waitress helped us to select something. What we had was extremely tasty if not a little on the expensive side for a lunch, however we enjoyed it but may not be my first choice in future. Service charge was added too?

Three of us went for an early-ish dinner on a Saturday night. The staff were fine but a little underwhelming but the food and the experience was great!!!! We had a selection of different meats on the BBQ. It was tasty, fun and a great way to spend a couple of hours.

Excellent food, we had one of the BBQ set menus with delicious soups and accompaniments. Lovely staff who were very kind and great atmosphere. Perfect venue for birthday celebration.
