The staff are very helpful and friendly, there's lots of seats/tables and the atmosphere is great, very warm and cozy 😎
Also a great place to visit for a drink before the Theatre 😉

I love coming here. The staff are brilliant. When it's busy, they do their best to see to you as soon as they can.
The scouse is amazing, as are the homemade pizzas.

It's part of the city's history with photo of film stars good service friendliness from staff and people passing through awaiting trains.
But on top of all that the food 5 stars.
I came here on Thursday afternoon and had the scouse and shared a pizza. The food was delicious and great value for money. The lady serving us was lovely and I can't wait to come back soon. Would highly reccomend!
Great local laidback pub with really good authentic fare. Nothing fancy, just straight-up tasty grub, and I mean that in a good way. Lots of friendly locals. Excellent value!!
Super Pub. Nettes Personal. Bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten. Klasse Bier und die Pizza schmeckt hervorragend. Preise gehen in Ordnung. Für 11£ bekommt man ein Menü aus Pizza und Bier. Der Scouse war leider zum Zeitpunkt des Besuchs nicht verfügbar. Im Pub wird überall Live-Sport gezeigt.

Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. My daughter and I had lunch ~ Scouce and a oint of cider for each of us and six hours later we returned for a late dinner in which we had Bruchetta, Meatballs, and a pizza, and again with a pint each.
Just had a lovely bowl of Scouse it was excellent I go in this pub regularly when I’m waiting for my train back to London

Lovely pub, great lively atmosphere, decent beer, friendly staff & their pizza's aren't too shabby either. Can't fault it.
It's an intimate venue. It's had its fair share of stars in there over the years. Their pictures are all over the walls.
The staff are great. The seats are comfortable. The drinks are reasonable. The selection is great for the size of the place.
On a Thursday, you'll find a fantastic Ukulele group playing. Fantastic for a sing along.
Was there the day David Bowie died. Two people from the theatre came along with a portable piano. They played and sang a medley of all of his hits. We all sang along. One of the most bittersweet times of my life.
