My grandfather and his parents lived nearby and must have drank regularly in here. A very poignant occasion being here.

Nice pub with a tastefully decorated lounge area. Was lovely to sit by the warmth of the fire with a pint.
Great pint, was pretty empty for a Saturday night, though I've not been out for 18months so not sure what it was like before c19.
Discovered by accident. We had rented a b&b next door. Was a perfect little place to enjoy a quiet beer or gin. Had a few chats with the owner as well.. great place. Hello from your Canadian friends.

Spent the day here for a friend's retirement. Wonderful selection of beer's and fantastic friendly staff. Well worth a visit.
Great bar ,dog friendly both inside and in the beer garden They have football on all the time and a nice choice of ale.
