Lovely staff, decent coffee and great cake. Biggest downfall with this place is there is no space at all between tables so getting and and out is difficult empty handed, with a tray and shopping its damn near impossible. If they took out just a couple of tables and left a bit of room it would be great!
Great service from all staff; food and drinks received quite quickly.

I love the cafe here love the cappuccinos here so lovely and hot. Some places when u get a cappuccino and you take a sip is lukewarm. I like hot drinks were I know some people like a little bit cooler than I do but here you get it hot so you have the option to let it cool if you prefer a cooler drink. Also the scones and cream and really nice.
Been in a few times now and service has always been brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble and staff are so friendly. Lattes are lovely and like the added touch of a chocolate to have with your drink. Would definitely recommend!!
I'm a chocoholic so Thornton's is my idea of heaven. I had a toasted sandwich and coffee and was rewarded with a couple of little chocs to go with my lunch. The place was clean even though it was busy and tables were cleared quickly. A good experience.
My favourite ice cream vendor , visited and as I haven't been anywhere near a Thorntons shop since before lockdown decided it should be a double scoop cone for my friend and myself. Served promptly and hygiene was given top priority with the assistant using latex gloves & passing the cone with a napkin around it ( top marks Thorntons) !
I can honestly say this is the best thorntons shop i have ever been to. The staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome. Nicely laid out cafe and shop. Excellent food and drinks. Cant wait to go back.

My favourite coffee shop in Liverpool One. Coffee not bitter and served with a chocolate. Staff very attentive. Has 3 toilet cubicles and always vacant tables at rear of Cafe.
Big improvement since it's re opened, clean& bright , good choice of chocolate goodies and the new look coffee bar is 100% better, I like the fact that once you have ordered food/drink they bring your drinks and food to the table, good customer service from all staff,only four stars as we had to clear a table before we sat down but will return.
The milkshakes were to die for (not for people without a sweet tooth, mind!) and the caramel shortbreads were lovely. We were even given a free bag of sweets with our order!
What a lovely place. Staff are sooooo helpful and pleasant. Food and coffee amazing. We will be returning very soon.

Great little cafe and all staff were wearing PPE + socially distancing the tables. Ice cream was lovely and cake was super.
Great prices for different options. Very clean. Staff were welcoming and had hand sanitiser at the ready, they operated a 1 in 1 out policy
Always try to get to Thorntons when in Liverpool, the staff are warm and friendly. I love their toasted sandwiches, their cakes are also very tempting.
