It is a hard job all your staff are doing...the guys in the kitchen & serving too..
The only minor point was the beef was a bit chewy...but hey ho..you can get this...

Went for dinner on a Wednesday night and as it was busy, we waited half an hour for a table which was fine as we waited at the bar. The food was delicious, staff were attentive and nice atmosphere. We always love the food, however on this particular day there were a couple of things that weren't up to the usual standard (probably down to the fact we went at 4.30pm so at the end of lunch and before dinner):
Stuffing had dried out
Potatoes were slightly burned
Ordered King Size and was only give
The service was excellent,the two ladies front of house were so lovely and helpful,as was the girls behind the bar,the server was really polite,the food was outstanding,beautifully cooked,the meat melted in your mouth,will definitely call again when we visit Liverpool again
Got a pint before the match, was alright for a 'foody' pub.

Service was great. Carrot and turnip available which is my favourite veg, I am vegetarian so the veg options are very important wish they would do cauliflower on its own rather than with cheese sauce though and wish the carrot and turnip was on the list every visit rather than occasionally
The Staff there are very friendly, smile and really helpful. I enjoyed the atmosphere. It is a nice venue and the food is good. The chefs cater for all and it is good to see the same faces behind the hotplate and serving drinks.
Definitely my favourite carvery!! Love the new app and being able to pay the bill from the table too that's really helpful! Lovely and cosy decor. Friendly and helpful staff.
Come and try. Free flow buffet full breakfast with Yorkshire pudding pork roast as their specialty. Coffee is good and the mushrooms are specially cooked with pepper and stuff. i took my wife, eldest son and 2 grandchildren to celebrate my birthday, we had drinks at the bar, then had a roast dinner and a pudding. we all had a great visit, and the service and food were first class.
We love it here. Great food.
Would really like to compliment the staff. They work so hard and manage to keep a smile on their faces.

Local tobys to us. Doesn't require a booking usually, even during busy times it's like a 20 min wait if you just show up. Cleaniness is probably a 3 on the hygiene rating. I only go for the carvery when there is a deal on, so every trip is worth it to me. I would never pay a full price here though.
Bit of a while to wait to be seated despite plenty of tables which just needed a clean, possibly short of staff at the time. Food itself was reasonable but lacked a good selection of veg on the Thursday when we visited.
Great fast service, our waitress was so helpful and very friendly. Didn’t catch her name but she was hosting ☺️ roast dinner was perfect!
